Message from the Principal Dear Stallions,

As we enter Novem-ber let me take this mo-ment to acknowledge how grateful I am for our incredible Stallion family. I feel truly blessed to work where I am surrounded by ded-icated teachers, amaz-ing students, a kind and caring faculty, and supportive parents.

In a collective effort last month during “Five Minutes of Dough” our school was able to raise over $500 for our annual Harvest Drive collection. In addition to the non-perishables we collect for the community, these funds will allow us to provide gift cards for groceries to many families in need. Congratulations to Ms. Dollins’ first period for leading this charitable cause.

As we cheer on our basketball team this month and ap-plaud those staying after school for our STARS program, I must also acknowledge our Stallions who continue to make good choices for the better good of our entire com-munity. So many reached out to “say something” when they saw something of concern on social media. So many take pride in our school. We must continue to communi-cate the importance of the proper use of technology. We all want what is best for our students and I am thankful for all the efforts put forth by everyone in order to achieve a positive and safe learning environment.

Later this month I look forward to the first La Rosa’s Lunch Bunch. Similar to last year’s Stallion Superstars initiative, I am excited to now have lunch with a group of students each month who will be selected from the recognition descriptions teach-ers and staff submit to me regularly.

Lastly, I hope at this time of year you will all reflect and give thanks for all the won-derful things in your lives. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Break!

Sincerely,

Mrs. La Rosa
