COME TO CSF DURING K WEEK EVENTS Dear CSF Friend, 30,000 people just came through CSF in little over a week. 30,000! So cool. Absolutely blown away by the amount of students we were able to introduce to the CSF ministry and to begin connecting them to CSF staff and our 450 student leaders. We've come to see that the 10 most important days in the life of a student are their first 10 days on campus. Friendships begin to form. Habits start to develop. That’s why we focus so much energy on outreach at this key time in the school calendar. We’re already seeing some great fruit. Record numbers of students are coming to our weekly programs Synergy and Shift. Over 600 students have signed up for the 90 different bible studies we host on campus. This looks to be a great year! Your financial support and prayers are an absolutely invaluable part of what is happening here. So on behalf of the CSF Staff and Student Leadership Team: Grace. Peace. Many thanks. COME TO CSF DURING K WEEK EVENTS

Dear CSF Friend,

30,000 people just came through CSF in little over a week. 30,000!

So on behalf of the CSF Staff and Student Leadership Team:

Grace. Peace. Many thanks.

A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM CSF’S 30+ K WEEK EVENTS

Water Balloon Fight: 236,484 Balloons. 11,622 People. 1 World Record. Great fun and great way to introduce students who may not typically show up at a CSF event.

One Story From K Week

Sean is a freshman who came to the CSF Video Game Tourney, stepping into our packed-out basement with 350 other gamers. While he was there he made a connection with one of our leaders. Sean commutes from another town to attend UK and though he didn't have any classes the day after the VG Tourney he still drove back into town. Why? He said he simply wanted to be around CSF to hang out with the new friends he had found here.

CSF is a place where the poor in spirit, the relationally starved, those who don’t feel like they have a home can connect with others who care and, ultimately, connect to a loving God.

12 & 12 Pancakes: Every time the clock struck 12 during K Week, free sugar rushes and pancakes were served up which helped us fill hungry stomachs and connect with students in a smaller setting.

God, Ph.D.: People often wonder if believing in God and being a scholar can go hand-in-hand. So we brought in several professors from UK who explored how a life of learning and a life with God are intricately interwoven.

Luau: Over 4,000 people showed up as CSF threw the biggest party on campus the day dorms opened. We danced, laughed, and hung out with a ton of new friends who hopefully left with the sense that CSF is a community for them.

Shift: Each week freshmen come as we serve up a free meal and discuss important issues of how life with God fits into life at college. Over 200 freshmen showed up the first week—our biggest opening week at Shift ever!

Synergy: Our first Synergy of the year saw 554 college students packing out our main sanctuary as well as 3 additional video venues—including one in our lawn—where we simulcast live video feeds! Challenging students to follow Jesus in their college years and beyond is what Synergy is all about.

MANY STUDENTS AT CSF GET CONNECTED BY GOING THROUGH THESE VARIOUS STAGES. NOTE HOW IT BECOMES MORE AND MORE PERSONAL THE FURTHER STUDENTS GO.

Here's the scoop on how CSF reaches campus... the funnel of ministry.

Overhead On Twitter About @UKCSF

Of all the opening numbers we’ve tallied from the start of the school year, this may be the one we

are most jazzed about. When it comes down to what we want most for students involved in CSF,

this is it. Life-on-Life. Studying scripture. Confessing sin. Encouraging one another. So go do

a back flip or two and join in the excitement about what God's doing through small groups at CSF.

CSF needs OFF-CAMPUS friends like you to enable our work on campus with students.

$1,000- That's the cost to CSF for every student who becomes regularly involved at CSF.

Impacting more and more students on campus with the gospel is great. It also means we need

more and more off-campus friends such as you to help us meet the financial demands.
