Goals: - My goal was to bring a snapshot of information about
the Tasmanian Devil to my audience in hopes that they would want to find out more about why this animal who is important to Australia is disappearing at a rapid pace.
Audience:- My audience was intended to be young students to
adults. I wanted to create a piece that was pleasing regardless of age and with information that was easy to comprehend at any level and age.
Message:- My message was that Tasmanian Devils are currently
becoming endangered and possibly extinct due to a cancer that attacks their face and prevents them from breathing and eating.
THEN:Once abundant throughout Australia, Tasmanian Devils are now only found on the Australian Island of Tasmania. They are believed to have become extinct on the mainland due to preying dingoes. NOW:“Devil facial tumor” has killed tens of thousands of Tasmanian devils since the 1990’s. Biologists are now trying to save the remaining devils who have not been introduced to this contagious disease.

Changes made between first design and Repetition Design:
- I changed the layout completely and used more colors in my design.- I changed the photos to articulate what was being read in my
description section.- I put a background behind my maps and labeled them.- I changed the font type and style.- I repeated the color of blue and black throughout my slide and the
layout of the photos.

Changes between Repetition Design and Contrast Design:
- I changed the text boxes and put a color behind them.- I contrasted the colors purple and yellow.- I took away the maps and focused just on the photos and text boxes.- I contrasted my fonts.- I changed the layout of my text boxes and photos to be more cohesive with
one another.

Changes between Contrast Design and Font Design:
- I changed the color scheme completely and played with the font. This was my decorative slide.- I changed the layout of the text boxes and the photos to play around with the
font style.- I changed the size and boldness of the font.- I created a banner across the top with the title to grab the attention of my
audience.

Changes between font style and Final:
- I changed the entire thing and focused on a color scheme that complimented each other. I chose blue and orange hues and shades. I put a block of color behind the photos to help pull them together.
- I aligned the photos with the title edges and the text boxes with the photos.- I aligned the block of blue with the text boxes as well.- I wanted to keep the design simple and unified as well as clean and presentable.
I didn’t feel that going all out and making radical designs behind the photo and text would be conducive to the importance of what is currently going on with the animal. I didn’t want to distract from my message.
- I also changed my font style so that it complimented one another rather than contrasting in a way that was difficult and frustrating to read.
