Lewis may be best known for his literary works, The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Great Divorce, but the Irish-born philosopher, English professor and prolific writer held a deep and powerful belief in God that permeated his life’s work. LEWIS 50TH MEMORIAL CONFERENCE Friday, Nov. 22, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Alexander Reading Room and Saturday, Nov. 23, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Cashion Academic Center (Fifth Floor) Join noted scholars and researchers as they discuss aspects of Lewis’ work that reflect the many seasons of his life and bring light to the soul at the center of his work. Sessions feature Dr. Erik Wielenberg (DePauw University) and Baylor faculty Dr. Trent Dougherty, Dr. Ralph Wood, Dr. Francis Beckwith, Dr. Alan Jacobs, Dr. William Weaver, Dr. Scott Moore, Dr. Doug Henry and Dr Todd Buras.
