MORNING DROP OFF REMINDERS

We are always seeking ways to improve our morning drop-off

process. In order to ensure that the drop-off lane runs smoothly, we are asking parents to have their child(ren) kissed and ready to exit the vehicle when reaching the "drop off zone." Parents should remain in the car and have their children exit the vehicle from the passenger side only. Thank you for your help with enforcing this procedure.

A giant THANK YOU for your generous donations for our clothing drive. One of the service squad students said, "Wow, I wish I could meet the kids these are going to, I bet they are going to be so happy!" The joy in our service squad students' hearts was so beautiful. They loved being in charge of a project that has made such a difference. They carried all the bags into my office, which is now filled!!! and definitely built some muscle doing so. Thank you again! — Angela Maile, Campus Minister

If you would like to come to Adoration when your child is in the chapel, please see the schedule below:

Congratulations to Mrs. Bosker and Mrs. Kaman who were nominated as two of Kroger Goals for Teachers! Each time Team USA scored their first goal of the game this year, they recognized a teacher. A student nominated each of them and were announced as two of the winning teachers for a game this season. We are very proud of them and thank God they are a part of our OLGC family.

OldSmartphonesNeededforVirtualRealityintheClassroom

The 6th grade geography students have had some exciting educational opportunities this year with the introduction of virtual reality field trips in the classroom. We have been able to explore the world’s oceans and coral reefs as if we were there in person. So far it has been a hit, and we have plans to extend these opportunities to the 5th grade as well. Right now, we have six viewers set up, but we are hoping to build a classroom set. If you or anyone you know has any old phones that are no longer being used, please consider donating them to this exciting project. They can be Apple or Android, and will be wiped clear before they are used. If you have any questions or information, please contact Mrs. Hebert [email protected].
