Crow Orpheus:

Crow Orpheus is a unique synthesizer that will add new colors to your sound plate. Extreme leads, distorted guitars, powerful basses, dreamy pads, electric pianos, and amazing experimental sounds- Orpheus is capable of doing all of it and much more, with superb sound quality!

Orpheus is based on the SLS (sample loop synthesis) method: by making a very short loop out of a sample, a playable and musical waveform is being made. The waveforms that are being created this way are very complex, and become more complex as you enlarge the loop length. The result is a very rich sound source with a special flavor. Each sample enables the creation of different waveforms, and by changing the loop-length and the loop-location you can shape the waveform to fit your needs. In addition, the use of LFO or envelope to modulate the loop-length, can create beautiful to strange reactions.

Orpheus has two 'sample loop oscillators' with banks of samples, and you can upload your own samples into the oscillators. Orpheus has another (non sample-loop) oscillator, that enables you to change its waveform gradually from sinus to noise (with parabolic, triangle, saw and square waveforms in between). This oscillator has its own LFO for creating a morphing movement between the different waveform of the oscillator.

Two other LFOs can modulate additional parameters: the pitch, the oscillator's loop-length, and the filter's cutoff. These LFOs can also create a morphing movement between the three oscillators. LFO1 has a geiger mode for special irregular modulations. The LFOs' modulation can be smoothed with 5 smooth stages- it is especially useful with loop-length & morphing modulations. Orpheus has 3 ADSR envelopes: an amplitude envelope, a filter envelope and a loop-length envelope.

Orpheus has an extended effects section which includes: reverb, chorus, phaser, flanger, delay & tape delay, saturator, compressor, graphic equalizer and stereo expander.

You will get Orpheus with 250 presets divided into 5 sound-banks: Leads, Keyboards&Pads, Basses, FX and the special 'strange world' bank.

Crow Oberline:

Crow Oberline is a synth line for reaktor 5 that is inspired by the oberheim sem units from the early 70’s. If you are a fan of vintage synth sound Crow Oberline was created for you!

Crow Oberline contains three ensembles: Ober I, Ober II and Ober III. Ober is the fundamental synth module. Ober II (shown in the picture) is made of the conjunction of two identical modules, and Ober III is made of 3 Ober modules.

Every Ober module is totally independent with oscillators, envelopes, filter and an LFO unit of its own. Ober II and Ober III have a mixer unit that makes the balance between the separated modules easier.

Each of the three Oberline ensembles has one Sequencer-Sample&hold unit, that can effect and modulate parameters of all the Ober modules of the ensemble (For example, the Sequencer-Sample&hold unit of Ober III can be assigned to modulate parameters of the three separate modules that the ensemble contains). External audio can also be assigned to modulate parameters of all the ober modules for the creation of rhythmic modulation.

This synth structure of separate and independent modules contributes to the unique sound and the programming flexibility of the Oberline ensembles.

More then 170 presets are included.

Page 6: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Trancoid:

Crow Trancoid is a synthesizer that was especially designed to fit the needs of the contemporary dance music producer.

Crow Trancoid has two powerful oscillators (a Sync oscillator and an FM oscillator), an advanced multi-mode filter ,a Trance-Gate, an extended distortion unit and 5 quality effects.

The sync oscillator is made of 1 master oscillator and 2 slave oscillators. Each of these sub-oscillators has 4 waveforms to choose from: saw, pulse, triangle and sinus. Each slave oscillator has an LFO for the creation of interesting irregular waveforms. The sync oscillator has a separate AHDSR amplitude envelope. The FM oscillator uses frequency modulation synthesis to produce its sound. You can choose a waveform for the modulator and for the carrier to shape the oscillator sound. There is an offset parameter that detunes the modulator frequency. An AHDSR envelope will affect the FM amount. The FM oscillator also has a separate AHDSR amplitude envelope.

The filter has 6 modes: low pass 2 poles, low pass 4 poles, band pass 2 poles, band pass 4 poles, low pass + band pass 4 poles, and high pass 2 poles. The filter contains a sequencer that can create patterns of modulation for the cutoff, and another sequencer that can modulate the resonance. The filter has an AHDSR envelope that will influence the cutoff position.

The trance-gate offers a great solution for creating typical trance rhythmic sounds. Crow Trancoid’s trance-gate is based on a 16-step sequencer. The speed of the trance-gate can be set to fit your needs.

There are 4 types of distortion. you can choose from parabolic saturation, sinus shaper, extreme shaper 1, and extreme shaper 2.

Crow Trancoid has a vast sound effects section that gives your sounds the final touch. A smooth reverb, a delay, a flanger, a chorus, and a compressor are waiting at the end of the sound chain.

All the features of Crow Trancoid were designed with contemporary dance music in mind.

Crow Future Bass:

Crow Future-Bass brings you amazing bass guitar sounds, fantastic electronic bass sounds, and the option to combine the two! With Crow Future Bass a variety of bass sounds can be produced: from convincing electric bass guitars (Classic jazz bass guitar, Slap bass guitar, Fretless bass guitar to exciting combinations of bass guitars and punchy synthesized basses.

Crow Future-Bass enables you, for the first time, to create bass sounds that are not purely

electronic or bass guitar oriented. With Future Bass, a part of your bass sound can be made of a traditional bass guitar, and the other part of a synthesized bass sound!

There are 3 sound sources that contribute to the final sound of Future Bass. The bass guitar sound source is a high-quality multi-sampled bass guitar, recorded with quality equipment. The second sound source is multi-sampled finger-fx sounds (sounds that are created when a bass guitar player plucks a string). The third sound source is an oscillator with 4 waveforms: Saw, Square & Sinus (for sub-basses). Each source has its own envelopes to control the amplitude and the filter cutoff. The bass guitar sample starting point can be changed to alter the attack of the sample sound. This can be great, for example, for designing softer fretless-style sounds.

You can also control the frequency range that will be dominated by the bass guitar and by the synthesizer. For example, you can make the bass guitar dominant only on the very low frequencies while the rest of the frequency range is synth sound oriented.

There are new territories to explore now, and we have already done some exploration, so that you will get Crow Future-Bass with 100 presets ready to be used.

Crow Vinyl:

Crow Vinyl brings DJ scratching directly to your studio, with the advantage of precise midi treatment for the exact results you need!

Crow Vinyl allows you to scratch any digital sample exactly the way you scratch vinyl, using your keyboard modulation wheel as the controller, for the authentic feeling and touch of vinyl scratching.

Crow Vinyl contains two ensembles: Vinyl I is a single turntable ensemble and Vinyl II is a two unit ensemble. When you use vinyl II, the lower keys of your keyboard will trigger the left turntable and the upper keys will trigger the right.

Crow Vinyl adds new dimensions to the conventional vinyl scratching sounds!

Page 9: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Accordion:

With Crow Accordion you can easily create any accordion sound you wish! Classic to weird accordions- everything is possible!

Crow accordion is probably the first synthesizer ever that has been dedicated to accordion sound emulation ...And the results are amazing! These convincing rich accordion sounds can not be obtained with any other synthesizer!

With Crow Accordion even the bellows effect can be emulated, by moving the pitch-wheel up & down. With a little practice you are a professional accordion player!

50 presets of different accordion types are included.

Page 10: Crow Gold Pack

Crow CX:

Crow CX is a synthesizer, that is inspired by the classic vintage monophonic synthesizers from the 70's. Monophonic & polyphonic versions are included.

Crow CX has a powerful oscillator that was carefully designed to recreate the character and sound of analog oscillators. It has low-pass, band-pass and hi-pass resonant filters (12/24 db per octave). The LFO can modulate the filter cutoff, main volume, pitch and pulse-width. There is portamento that stretches for one octave. External audio can be routed through the filter or can modulate the cutoff while you are playing.

More then 100 presets are included.

Crow Theremin:

Crow Theremin is a theremin emulator. Based on the SLS (Sample-Loop Synthesis) method, with 10 different real theremin samples, Crow Theremin produces an amazing analog theremin sound.

Page 11: Crow Gold Pack

The theremin is one of the earliest fully electronic musical instrument. The theremin

is unusual in that it requires no physical contact in order to produce music and was, in fact, the first musical instrument designed to be played without being touched.

Well, you do have to touch your keyboard to play Crow Theremin, but it sounds just like the real thing, and you are able to control the vibrato amount (with your modulation wheel) and the amplitude (with the volume controller), for the authentic theremin feel!

Blue Crow:

Based on our new SLS synthesis method, Blue Crow is a synthesizer that is specialized in producing soft and gentle sounds. Blue Crow is a synthesizer that uses the sample-loop synthesis method for creating its unique sound. Blue Crow has 2 oscillators that use a very short sample-loop, for creating unique waveforms. The waveforms that are being created this way are very complex, and get more complex as you enlarge the loop length. The result is a very rich sound source with a special flavor. Each sample enables the creation of different waveforms, and by changing the loop-length and the loop-location you can shape the waveform to fit your needs.

Page 12: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Tube Compressor:

Crow Tube Compressor is a high quality tube compressor emulator. The tube saturation amount can be set, and the saturation color can be shaped to achieve the exact results that you need. Non-standard Knee controls allow the articulation of the compression characteristics.

Crow Drive:

Crow Drive is a multi-band distortion effect. This unique sound design tool can add character or completely change any audio material you throw into it. - It can be used as a send effect on a rhythm section for the creation of modern edgier drum sound. - It can saturate the high frequencies of a bass guitar to make it more present, while keeping the lows clean and clear. - It can do magic with any other audio source such as vocals, acoustic guitars or synthesized sounds. So, how does it work? Crow Drive divides the input audio frequencies into six bands. Then each band can be saturated independently, without effecting the other bands. The result is more flexibility at the sound design process, and new opportunities for creative mixing or music making.

Page 13: Crow Gold Pack

Crow DX-3:

Crow DX-3 is an all-around delay effect with a classic analog character. It can be synced to the tempo of the song while you select the note value corresponding to the desired delay time. This delay has a panner with an LFO that can move the delays across the stereo field. An advanced filter, a saturator and a noise generator shape the delays sound.

Crow Tape-Loop Echo MKII:

Crow Tape-Loop Echo MKII was designed to recreate the warm vintage echo sound of old tape delay units. Before digital electronics, delay effects were created by using tape-loop echo units. There are various reasons why tape-based systems sound so distinctive. One main reason is the restricted frequency response of a loop of tape that's been dragged over a set of tape heads thousands of times. The tube circuitry of the original models also had a limited bandwidth and added a significant amount of harmonic distortion. In many cases the tape delay unit would also apply a tiny amount of vibrato to the repeats, because of unbalanced tape heads. This, combined with tape's tendency to saturate, meant that when feedback was used, successive echoes became less bright and more distorted, creating a sense of the sound receding into the distance. Crow Tape-Loop Echo authentically retains this desired echo sound, with the distortion, flutter, and warmth that tape delays are famous for. With high feedback rate it can also get into a tape-oscillation mode that produces very interesting results.

Page 14: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Tape-Loop Echo includes all the features and controls that original tape delays have: -Up to three tape heads can be used simultaneously. -The rate, the level and the intensity (feedback) of the echoes can be determined. -The echoes color can be shaped with the bass and treble knobs. -The machine age can be set: new machine will produce clear echo sound that can be great for vocals, while older machines will have warmer character and increased wow and flutter. - Like with some of the original units, spring reverb can be added for a smoother delay sound. The spring reverb has its own controls on Panel B. Please be aware that Crow Tape-Loop Echo can be extremely loud when you use high echo and intensity settings!

Crow Tape-Loop Echo MKI:

Crow Tape-Loop Echo MKI is a tape-echo emulator that is different from MKII in its operation and character. It has four tape heads and has longer delay times. The ratio between the different delay times can be set with the Echo Offset slider, and the tape effect amount can be determined. Please be aware that Crow Tape-Loop Echo can be extremely loud when you use high echo and feedback settings!

Page 15: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Electroverb:

Instead of creating room reverb, Crow Electroverb offers a distinctive unusual reverb sound: Long washes, pitched metallic drones, weird and wonderfully sci-fi reverbs- will inspire you and let you express your creativity. Crow Electroverb is great for the creation of FX sounds, for adding unnatural ambience to your track, or for any other creative use you can think of.

Crow Graphic EQ:

Crow Graphic EQ is a stereo 31-band graphic equalizer. With Crow Graphic EQ you can enhance very specific areas of an instrument frequency range, change its color, and balance the harmonic presentation.

There are two Graphic EQ ensembles: one with a global Q factor, and the other with a Q factor for each band.

Page 16: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Tape Flanger:

Crow Tape Flanger, as its name suggests, is a tape flanger emulator. Crow Tape Flanger allows you to use the modulation wheel for the authentic flanging sound and feel.

Flanging effect was originally created by running two identical copies of the same recording on open-reel analogue recorders and then summing the two outputs together via a mixer at exactly the same levels. The two recordings were started together and then the speed of one of the machines was slowed-down slightly by using hand pressure on the tape reel. Flange crow emulates this process in a way that digital flanging effects usually don't.

These are the main differences between Crow Flanger and other flanger effects:

- To make the effect stronger, a usual digital flanger effect uses feedback while there is no feedback loop in a real tape flanging. Crow Tape Flanger sounds great without the need to use a feedback loop.

- With a regular digital flanger unit, the delay between the two signals never passes through zero point. With Crow Tape Flanger it does.

- With regular digital flanger units a standard LFO modulates the delay time. This movement is repetitive and doesn't emulate the hand made delay between two tapes that originally made the tape flanging effect. With Crow Tape Flanger you can create this movement with your hand on the modulation wheel for the authentic flanging sound and feel.

Crow Tape Flanger provides you with a sweet warm and authentic tape flanging sound

Page 17: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Gold Delays GD-1:

Crow Gold Delay GD-1 is a special delay-based effect. Crow Gold Delay divides the input signal into ten frequency bands. The parameters of each of these bands can be controlled independently and to be manipulated by two LFO’s, for the creation of unusual sound effects.

Crow GrainD Lay:

Crow GrainD lay is a granular delay effect. GrainD lay will separate the input audio into small grains. By manipulating these grains, unusual effects can be made. Two LFO’s will manipulate the grain length, the distance between grains, the grains panning and the delay time for the creation of interesting sound textures.

Page 18: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Magician:

Crow magician is a four tap delay unit but it is so much more than that! With a mono reverb unit and a filter within the feedback loop of each tap, a wild reaction can be initiated. It can produce amazing spacey sci-fi sounds, a successive wonderful rain of delays and other audio magic. With Crow Magician each tap can be accurately located in a two-dimensional space with an X-Y controller: the X-axis determines the location across the stereo field (panner), and the Y-axis determines the depth factor (reverb). Each tap has its own filter with four operation modes (high-pass, low-pass, band-pass and notch), and different slope options (1-16 poles). Each tap has its own delay time, feedback, and level. It can be saturated and pitch modulated independently. Please be aware that Crow Magician can be extremely loud when you use high resonance and feedback settings!

Page 19: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Mood Filter:

Crow Mood Filter emulates a famous vintage analog filter.

It can be used to obtain slow filter sweeps or more massive and distorted filtering effects, all with the famous ladder filter sound.

Crow Mood Filter is a low pass filter. You can choose between 2 pole and 4 pole filter slopes. When you push the resonance to its limits you get the analog self-oscillation effect that you get with analog filter units. The drive controller adds warmth and harmonic content before the filtering stage for a more radical filter effect.

Mood filter has a powerful envelope follower unit that enables audio to modulate the filter cutoff. You can choose between 3 modulation types: Internal, External, or you can set the left audio track to manipulate the right audio track. Attack and Release parameters will shape the envelope follower effect.

Page 20: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Ultra Phaser:

Crow Ultra Phaser has all the characteristics of analog phaser effects. It offers an amazingly rich, warm, silky sound without becoming nasal. Low settings will add depth and stereo interest with no obvious result, while high settings will produce thicker beautiful frequency sweeps. Two, four or six stages of phasing are available, while the rate, depth and color factors are controllable. There is a high-pass filter to roll off unneeded low frequencies, and an advanced saturation section.

Crow Plate Reverb:

Crow Plate Reverb was designed especially to recreate the classic plate reverb sound, with no early reflections, a very fast reverb buildup and a wonderfully warm and cohesive sound.

As the original plates, Crow Plate Reverb can do magic with vocals, snare drums, piano, guitars- in fact just about anything you feed it.

Page 21: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Plate is very easy to operate: it has few controllers, exactly those you would use with real plate units. First you can choose between 9 plate types, each type has its own sound characteristics (and is based on a different algorithm). Then you can adjust the mechanical damper for longer or shorter reverb. There's a two-band shelving equalizer with adjustable frequencies, a low-pass and a high-pass filter. Finally you can add pre-delay, and set the mix between the dry and wet sound and the output level.

With superb sound quality, Crow Plate Reverb brings the old heavy plate to your studio!

Crow Preamp:

Crow Preamp is a classic analog tube preamp emulator.

Crow Preamp will add analog tube warmth to your digital tracks. From mild saturation with the regular setting to distortion with the ultra tube mode- Crow Preamp gives you the tools to create a wide range of analog tube effects.

Page 22: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Space-Boy:

Crow Space-Boy offers a new revolutionary approach to space locating of audio signals.

The basic idea behind Space Boy is the conjunction of a panner and a mono-reverb that enable the location of signals in a two-dimensional space. The panner is responsible for the location across the stereo field (Left-Right axis) while the mono-reverb determines the depth factor (Close - Far axis). With the X-Y controller you can easily locate the audio material in a 2D space. But that is only the beginning...

With the high quality reverb unit you can choose the space you place your signal in. There are many presets that you can choose from but you can easily create your own ‘space’ since the reverb unit is fully programmable.

Two LFO units can move your audio material in the 2D space that you have chosen. Each LFO can be synced to a host clock, and has 4 waveforms to choose from: Sinus, Triangle, Pulse, and Sample&Hold. Each LFO can be assigned to modulate the panning, the reverb amount and even the other LFO frequency. The LFO wave phase can be changed and there is a smooth option (The smooth option is very usefull when you choose Sample&Hold LFO type).

There are options to create links between the panner and the mono-reverb, and a distorted space can be created this way. You can determine the space mode when you choose between the 3 mode options: In the regular mode the space is a regular 2D space. In the reverb off-center emphasis mode the space is distorted- audio signals at the center will sound closer then those at the sides of the stereo field. In the reverb center emphasis mode another distorted space is created- audio signals at the sides of the stereo field will sound closer and signals at the center will sound far away. The amount of space distortion is also controllable. Any movement that you assign later is being created according to the space mode that you have chosen.

The drive knob will add saturation warmth to the output signal, and two VU meters will help you set the optimal output volume.

Crow Space-Boy is a unique and inspiring sound design tool for very accurate space locating, special effects, and fantastic unusual movement in your track!

Page 23: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Green Tape:

Digital recording surly has its advantages, but it often lacks the warmth and depth of traditional analog tape recorders. Crow Green Tape gives you the opportunity to enjoy the analog tape advantages, while not paying the price of restricted dynamic range, high noise level and hardware maintains.

With Crow Green Tape the saturation amount, saturation release, bumping effect, and low frequency roll off are all adjustable and controllable. You can choose between 7 different tapes (each with its own character), and even set the magnetic hiss level. The indication knobs will turn from green to yellow to red, to show you the tape saturation amount at any moment. Two VU meters will display the current output level, and the clipping indicators will turn to red when clipping occurs.

The best way to work with Crow Green Tape is to record and mix into it like you would do with real tape. That means that you should put Crow Green Tape as an insert effect on your master while you are working and not afterward (a purist will put it on any of his audio channels for the perfect emulation of tape recording).

Page 24: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Ultra Chorus:

The main purpose of any chorus effect is to create the illusion of many instruments playing together. For creating this effect in a natural way, chorus effects have to have a complex pitch modulation mechanism. This is the main reason why so many chorus units that use regular LFO for the delay modulation sound so repetitive and unconvincing.

Crow Ultra Chorus uses a new, very complex delay modulation method, with an extensive use of sample&hold and Geiger counters, for a non repetitive and random action. The result is a very cohesive and sweet chorus sound.

Crow Ultra Chorus can be used as mono or stereo, the delay time, modulation rate, modulation depth and stereo spread are controllable. There is also the ultra-mode that should be used when wider and fuller chorus sound is needed.

Crow Ultraverb:

With detailed diffusion, dense smooth tails and astonishing quality, Crow Ultraverb is the ultimate solution when hi-end acoustic space emulation is needed. Crow Ultraverb provides an extreme flexibility, with all the controls that you need for optimal space shaping. Rooms, plates, halls, caves, open spaces- Crow Ultraverb can produce any kind of reverb that you can think of (and some that you can’t).

Ultraverb has a low CPU mode: just click on a button and save your computer resources!

A huge library of 140 presets is included for an instant use.

Page 25: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Vintage Chorus:

Crow vintage chorus emulates the way a well known vintage chorus hardware unit behaves and sounds. Don’t let the interface simplicity full you- it is very simple to operate but it produces the most gentle sweet chorus sound you could wish for.

Crow Vintage Chorus will be your ultimate solution when you look for sweet acoustic guitars, wider background vocals, or for the addition of spatial effect to a mono source.

Crow Vintage Chorus has two versions: With version 1 you can choose between four chorus modes that differ in the effect intensity. With version 2 you can control the effect intensity and the dry/wet parameter with two knobs. With both versions you can choose between mono and stereo input according to your source.

Crow Vocal Modeler:

Crow Vocal Modeler is an effect that can change completely the character of a human voice. Turn a single voice into a chorus, turn your female singer into a witch, make her whisper, change a low mail voice into a girly one, and make vocal effects that were never heard before!

Vocal Modeler can be subtle: it enables you to add breath or throaty sound to gently colorize your vocals.

Page 26: Crow Gold Pack

Vocal Modeler is not limited to vocal treatment. You can experiment with any audio source for an unusual treatment.

Vocal Modeler has 3 versions: Vocal Modeler, Vocal Modeler Xtream, and Vocal Modeler Premium. You should start will the Xtreme version since it will fit most of your needs without taking to much CPU.

Crow White FX:

Crow White FX is an effect of the 21th century that will add new spices to your mixes and music.

Crow White FX takes granular synthesis techniques to a new level. Here is a brief description of what happening inside the beast: the audio source is being separated into small grains, these grains are manipulated and then go into a build-in reverb, then filtered and sent back to the granular section. This granular-feedback loop mechanism is totally controlled, with a feedback control, filtering controls, reverb controls, and so on. The granular section operation and grains manipulation are also fully controllable.

The results are a totally fresh effect that will make your creative juices flow!

Page 27: Crow Gold Pack

Crow Osmosis Filter:

Crow Osmosis Filter is a fat warm resonant filter that is inspired by analog filters like Electrix Filter Factory and Sherman Filterbank.

Crow Osmosis consists of two filters with low-pass, low-pass ladder, hi-pass, band-pass and notch shapes with two or four poles slope characteristics. The two filter units can work together in parallel or serial modes, and can be linked for the creation of up to 8 poles filters (or for any other creative reason). Each filter can be modulated by an LFO for the big sweeps, by an envelope follower for the groovy action, or by both.

Crow Osmosis gives you all the flexibility and the power that you need for any filtering mission.

Crow Tremolo:

Crow Tremolo is a tremolo and auto-gate effect that emulates the tremolo effect of classic guitar amps such as the Fender.

You can morph the tremolo waveforms from smooth triangle to a sharp square-wave. You can also change the symmetry of the waveform till you get the exact effect that you need.

The rate and depth of the tremolo are off course fully controllable, and there are extra controls: the smooth parameter will affect the modulation smoothness and the drive will add extra character.

In the auto-gate mode Crow Tremolo is turned into wilder beast. Make your own sequences, run any audio material trough it, and look for the groovy results.
