CROSSBOW EXTREME…InvisibleFence

Asset Alarm- Triggered when the Alarm Input is activated

Assert Output- Will engage an optional output feature

Battery Disconnect- Triggered when the primary power source is disconnected. If the

device is disconnected from the power source of the vehicle battery and it has a backup

battery installed, it will send a message indicating the loss of main power. The backup

battery will then take over to power the device. (Backup battery is required for this feature)

Battery Low- Configuration that allows the device to send a message if the battery

voltage drops below a set threshold. The default setting is currently set at 10.3 Volts.

Config. Read- This allows you to read a device specific configuration which has

previously been set.

Config. Write- Write (and save) device specific programming

Clear Geofence- This feature will clear (erase) any Geofence assigned to a particular

device/vehicle.

Daylight Savings- Allows the time to be adjusted according to different time zones and

daylight savings changes.

Device Softkill- The unit is still in the system and will respond to Crossbow, but not the

user/consumer for whatever reason, ergo: non-payment or unit malfunction. This will

command the device to no longer send messages until a Device Resurrect message is sent

to the device.

o Device Resurrect – This command will resurrect the device.

Device Status- Report showing the specific device details for an exact point in time.

This will let you know if the gps module is currently talking on the network and how strong

this signal is.

Disengage Starter- This feature will disable the vehicles ability to start. The vehicle

will be rendered immobile and will not start unless the Re-engage Starter command is sent.

This is used commonly to help keep a vehicle from moving until a recovery team can reach it

or payment is received. (Special Installation Required)

De-assert Output- Will cancel an optional output feature.

Device Reset- This feature will reset the device.

Enable Beeper- Audible alarm that can be preconfigured to pulse at set intervals. When

the beeper is activated, and the vehicle enters an en route state (aka. once the vehicle is

started and begins to move) it will pulse for 30 seconds. This is commonly used as a

payment reminder to the customer. It can be activated/deactivated using the Send Tab.

(Special parts and installation required)

Endpoints- This feature monitors every time a vehicle starts and stops. Once a vehicle

begins to move (en route) it will send a START message. Once the vehicle is stopped for 5

minutes it will send an END (arrival) message. (Triggered when the device is en-route or

upon the arrival of the device.)

Enroute Time – This feature can be configured to send a message if the device is en

route (moving) continuously for a set amount of time. Current options are every 10 minutes,

every 30 minutes, or OFF.

Geomarker- This feature can be set up as a radius, or a multi polygon. The device can

be configured to send a message if it enters or exits a set boundary. This is used to monitor

if a vehicle leaves the state it was leased in or if you want to know when a device enters an

area.

Get Engine Hours Count- Requests the vehicles total engine hours.

Get Odometer Count- Will request the vehicles current odometer reading.

Heartbeat Interval - Predetermined status update programmed at a set interval as

long as the device has power. Default setting is in 168 hour increments. (Does not use

exchanges from customers exchange pool)

Historical Data- Stealth 2 devices hold 90 days of information that can be accessed

using this feature. If the user wants to know where a device was located at a specific time

within the last 90 days, they can enter the date/time and it will recover the information that

the device had at that exact moment. (Ex: If an accident happened two weeks ago on a

Sunday at 8:15 am, you can perform a historical data request and see the details of that

exact moment in time. As well as before and after.)

Idling Alarm- An alarm triggered when the vehicle has been idling for longer than the

pre- configured time. (Idling is when the vehicles ignition is on but the vehicle is not moving.)

Ignition On Time- Alert triggered when a vehicle ignition is on longer than a preset

amount of time.

Interval Tracking- This feature allows you to set a device to send messages at specific

preset intervals. Interval setting can be set to send a message every 15 min., 30 min., 60

min.,4hrs., 24 hrs., 10 days and 30 days.

Interval Tracking On- Will enable any interval tracking features programmed to the

device. (device specific using config write)

Interval Tracking Off- Will temporarily disable any interval tracking features

programmed to the device. (device specific using config write)

Ignition On Time- Alert triggered when a vehicle ignition is on longer than a preset

amount of time.

Locate- This feature will provide you with a current location of the vehicle which includes

longitude/latitude, speed and direction in which the device is traveling or stationary. Once

the request is complete, which can take up to 2 minutes. (you will see a satellite image of

the vehicles current location, red – stationary, green – en route)

Odometer Distance- This feature will allow the device to send a message at preset

odometer intervals. (Commonly used for vehicle factory maintenance or oil changes.)

Settings include every 1k, 3k and 5k. miles.

Re-engage Starter- This command when sent to a device will allow the vehicle to start

again and function as it normally would. (Used commonly as a payment reminder or for

repo)

Set Geofence- This feature will set a geofence around the current location of a vehicle

when request was sent. A geofence is a preset radius around a specific area or zone and

will remain until it is cleared. Default setting is currently .5 miles. If the vehicle exits a

geofence, it will send a “Geofence Exited” alert. Optional settings are a .5 miles , 5 miles, or

10 mile radius. It uses 1 exchange when triggered. A geofence will reset each time the

vehicle re-enters a geofence and a minimum time of 5 minutes has elapsed since the last

alert. (Device Specific)

Speed Exceeded- Alert triggered when a device exceeds the speed threshold for

more than 30 seconds. This will reset once the device is motionless for 5 minutes. It can be

set between 40 and 120 mph., or turned off. (Device Specific)

Space Time Resume- Will resume pre-configured Space Time configurations.

Space Time Circle 1- Allows the user to program a device to recognize a Circular

Geomarker. And will trigger notification messages to be sent if the entered or exited the

area.

Space Time Circle Polygon- This feature allows the user to program a device to

recognize a Multi-Polygonal Geomarker. And will trigger alert notifications to be sent once

the vehicle has entered or exited the polygon. (Located under the send tab, click on config

write)

Stop Verifier On- This feature, once activated, will send a locate 4 hours after a vehicle

has stationary, and will do so 8 times. This helps to gather data on where the vehicle is

located when it is not used. (Located under the send tab, click on config write)

Stop Verifier Off- This will deactivate the Stop Verifier feature. (Located under the

send tab, click on config write)

Stationary/Stop- Will send an alert once the vehicle is idle or stopped for a pre-

configured amount of time. (Commonly used to monitor excess fuel consumption on fleet

vehicles and other applications.)

Unlock Doors- This feature can unlock the vehicles doors. (Special Installation /

additional parts Required for each device utilizing this feature)

Tow Idle – This feature will send an alert once a vehicle has been moved without starting

via the ignition. You will need the yellow cable to be connected to the ignition sense wire in

order to perform this function.
