Thoughts from
fr. Mark
Our Reading this weekend point towards the theme- God’s plan is our top priority. We worry because our calling keeps us from making it to the top. We fret because the prize is out of reach. We are involved in a question of priorities where God’s plan is the top priority. In the Gospel, Martha is very anxious because the kitchen seems to be the priority.. Mary under takes a different responsibility, a different challenge. Mary perceived a priority where Martha did not. Jesus message is all important. God’s plan is Mary’s top priority. Let us apply this to ourselves today. God’s priority for Husbands and Wives is their mutual love. Leaders in government and business must have service as their top priority. Throughout the coming week, let us discover what is out top priority. Hopefully God’s plan is the top priority.
