ACTIVITIES DURING PLAY TRUE DAY IN

CROATIA (3rd – 17th Apr 2016)

Croatian Institute for Toxicology and Anti-Doping (CITA) carried out from 3rd

through 17th April 2016 several anti-doping activities within the prePLAY program.

The aim was to promote widely to sports and general population the message of clean

sport. Our trained sport ambassadors played the active role, participating with great

enthusiasm in all kinds of educational activities in the field of anti-doping.

The outreach activities during the Play True day notation were the following:

- Judo sakura Cup (Sveta Nedjelja, 9.4.2016) – about 60 young athletes educated

through communication and anti-doping quiz

- Futsal tournament (Zagreb, 9.4.2016) – about 30 young futsal players played

anti-doping quiz on info booth

- Sport dance competition TREPS (Zagreb, 10.04.2016) – we educated about 20

young athletes and promoted Play true day

- Primary schoolchildren event with Education (Zagreb, 12.4.2016) – about 170

children educated on anti-doping topic in form of group talk and anti-doping

quiz

- Promotion of Play True day during the health-sports event ‘Health for all’,

within the notation of World Health day at Zagreb recreational facility Jarun

Lake (Zagreb, 16.4.2016)

- Promotion of Play True day during the sports event ‘Kros Sportskih novosti’ at

at Zagreb recreational facility Bundek Lake (Zagreb, 17.4.2016)

- Sport dance competition TREPS (Zagreb, 17.04.2016) – we educated about 35

young athletes and promoted Play true day
