ProfessionalsTom Alberg, Ph.D.Dr. Tom Alberg received his Ph.D. in psychology from Kansas State University. He is licensed to practice in Arizona and Minnesota. Dr. Alberg has experience as a forensic practitioner, college professor, hospital practitioner and private clinician. His is a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners, Diplomat of the American Board of Psychological Specialties: Forensic Psychology, and a Fellow of the American Board of Psychological Specialties: Forensic Psychology. He has presented and published on a variety of topics including: Risk Assessment, Sex Off ender Assessment, and Psychopathy.

Leonard D. Goodstein, Ph.D., A.B.P.P.Dr. Leonard Goodstein received his Ph.D. in psychology from Columbia University. He is licensed to practice in Arizona, the District of Columbia and California (inactive) and holds a Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. He served as Chair of the Department of Psychology at ASU, and has worked as a professor at Hofstra, Iowa, Cincinnati, and Arizona State Universities. Following his distinguished career in academia, he served as Executive Vice President and CEO of the American Psychological Association (APA), has served as a consultant to a variety of federal, state, and local governments, and to many business and non-profi t organizations. His area of expertise is psychological assessment and he has provided expert testimony in a variety of civil and criminal matters, including, but not limited to, evaluating head injuries, PTSD, and child custody issues.

Cory Shaw, M.C., L.P.C.Ms. Cory Shaw is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. She holds a Master’s of Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Shaw has over 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families dealing with addiction, family confl ict, divorce, trauma, and mental illness.

Ann Schroeckenstein, Psy.D.Dr. Ann Schroeckenstein received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Midwestern University. She is licensed to practice in Arizona. Dr. Schroeckenstein has experience working with children and families, victims of crime, people suff ering with substance addictions, and sexual off enders. She has worked with the Department of Corrections and has provided crisis interventions through a mobile crisis unit. Dr. Schroeckenstein has training and experience in psychological assessments as well as individual, couples, family and group therapy.

Vickie Spitzer, Psy.D.Dr. Vickie Spitzer received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology – Argosy University. She is currently working towards licensure with the State of Arizona. She has approximately 10 years of experience in the fi eld of psychology. Dr. Spitzer has received extensive clinical training in administering psychological assessments, as well as treating individuals and families aff ected by depression, sexual addiction, anxiety, drug addiction, foster care placement and adolescents diagnosed with serious mental illness.

Lori Long Epting, M.C., L.P.C., N.C.C.Ms. Lori Epting is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certifi ed Counselor. She received her Masters in Counseling from Arizona State University. She has worked at Forensic Counseling and Evaluations since 2006, working with high-confl ict divorce cases. Ms. Epting received her clinical training at Psychological Counseling Services, providing psychological services to couples and individuals dealing with addiction, relationship issues, anxiety, depression and trauma. Her experience includes working with adolescents and adults dealing with divorce.

David Weinstock, J.D.(ret), Ph.D.Dr. Weinstock received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. He is a licensed psychologist in Arizona and a licensed and retired attorney in New York and Massachusetts. His focus is in family law, providing counseling and conducting family law evaluations. Dr. Weinstock has experience in other areas including conducting competency evaluations and risk assessments for the criminal court and sexual off ender and sex addiction evaluations and treatment. He is a member of the Maricopa County Superior Court’s Behavioral Health Committee, a board member of Arizona’s Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), a member of Arizona’s Domestic Relations Committee and a former co-chair of the Arizona Psychological Association’s Forensic Committee.

Celice Korsten, Psy.D.Dr. Korsten received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology - Argosy University. She is a licensed psychologist in Arizona. Dr. Korsten has experience working with serious mental illness, victims of crime, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, and sexual off enders, as well as with children and families. She has worked with the Department of Juvenile Corrections, the Arizona State Hospital, and Napa State Hospital. In addition, she has conducted therapy and administered psychological assessments and behavior interventions to high-risk adolescent and adult populations. She has also received training in risk assessment, psychosexual evaluations, and other forensically-informed treatment with serious mental illness.
