Purpose of the Meeting
• Explain creek upgrade option – within context of the Brown Hill Keswick Creek Stormwater Management Plan
• Get an understanding of the type of works likely to be required within your area / property
• Discuss any concerns or opportunities
Brown Hill Keswick Creek Stormwater Management
Aim• To substantially reduce the number of properties within
the catchment that would be affected by very large flood events
Progress• Part A: Lower part of the catchment – works
progressing well• Part B: Further investigations for upper catchment
- Flood control dam in rural catchment - Culverts on the plains
Reduced flood risks
Revised data• New rainfall data• Improved flood plain modelling
Outcome• Reduced flooding • Creek clearing still required
