Solutions

Hughes came to Americaneagle.com for a fast and fresh website that would help

them reach their goals. Our team developed and designed a new site on the Sitefinity Content Management System and worked with Hughes every step of the way to ensure the solution fit the credit union’s needs.

When designing and developing the new HughesFCU.org, Americaneagle.com kept the end user in mind by enhancing the navigation which streamlined the account sign up process for members. Other functionality improvements included a custom location finder to enable members to find services, a product comparison function to allow side-by-side comparisons of multiple products and a custom integration to import APR and APY rates for Hughes’s products and services. The team at Americaneagle.com also built in a “Quick Finder” feature that enabled navigation by persona to further users’ ease of access.

Additionally, Americaneagle.com performed a functionality audit with

extensive testing to provide a faster site. The new HughesFCU.org is also responsive and optimized for both mobile and tablet users, resulting in a greater level of usability for a larger percentage users. The accessibility team at Americaneagle.com put the site through an array of ADA compliance tests to ensure that it was accessible to all visitors and aligned with preexisting standards. To further expand the amount of members who can access the site, the new HughesFCU.org also features content in both English and Spanish to serve a larger part of the community.

Following the launch of their new website, Hughes Federal Credit Union quickly saw positive results. In just six short months, the credit union saw a significant increase in account sign ups and much faster page speeds. With a new, optimized site, Hughes Federal Credit Union can now serve a greater portion of their members and attract prospective members as well.
