Generally, applicants are asked to submit 3-5 pages of poems, prose, or dialogue, depending upon the course - but individual instructors might be looking for specific subjects or styles, so please be sure to submit the appropriate materials based on the instructor's specifications. Applications for creative writing courses must be received in the English Department office at the Barker Center no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 02, 2015. No exceptions. The Department cannot accept applications by e-mail; hard copies must be delivered. Please submit a copy of this application cover sheet for each course to which you are applying. (If you are applying to three courses, please submit three application cover sheets.)
