Sound recording, engineering and musictechnology has become more accessible with arise in digital platforms and a rise in inexpensiverecording equipment. The industry has fiercelycompetitive graduate entry however many havevery limited hands on experience. This level 2and 3 NVQ qualifications aim to open up routesin to the sector which are transparent to alarger number of prospective people.

At Level 2 you have some knowledge and basicskills in the industry - probably from a rolewhere you work under supervision. You want toincrease your skills and take on moreresponsibility.

At Level 3 you have worked in the industry forsome time - you have plenty of experience, andyour work might involve supervising others ormanaging resources. You want to develop yourskills further, perhaps to move into amanagement role.

On completion learners will gain the skills andknowledge required to progress from the Level2 to the Level 3, onto the Level 3 Creative andDigital Media apprenticeship or employement.

Learners must complete 2x mandatoryunits and 33 credits from the optionalunits at both Levels 2 and 3.

A portfolio of evidence allows the learner to gain skills whilst gathering evidence tosupport thier learning and progression.
