Each lesson is focused on specific question types that students encounter in the exam giving you the strategies and techniques to get the best possible score.

English Writing SkillsThe writing skill courses help you improve your writing from sentence level, through paragraph construction to completed essays. Your teacher will help you critically analyse your own writing and give you regular feedback. You will understand where you are strong and where you need to focus in order to improve.

English for CultureCurrent AffairsOn the Current Affairs course students discuss thought-provoking topics straight from the headlines. If you already have a firm foundation in English, this course will help you build your ability to fluently discuss nearly any mainstream topic in English with precision and confidence.

Short StoriesThe short stories course is based around a collection of fascinating English short stories. While books form its central theme, this course helps develop speaking as well as reading skills through in-class discussions. These discussions will build your speaking confidence and ability to fluently express opinions on a range of topics.

How do I book a course?You will need to visit one of our centres to register and pay for your course. Please note that different courses are offered at every centres.

Adults who want to register for our courses need to take a level test. Our level test thoroughly assesses your English ability with a focus on spoken communication. Level tests can only be booked on our website (www.britishcoucil.kr). Once you have taken your level test, you can register for a suitable course if places are available.

Each lesson has clear objectives that contribute to your overall progress and move you closer to achieving your language goals. In every class, your teacher will provide you with activities and monitor your progress. With guidance, correction and feedback from your teacher, you will become better, more fluent and more confident when communicating in English.

myClassmyClass is a flexible way for you to develop your English. With myClass, you have more control about what you study and how you progress. For example, you can choose the lessons that best suit your interests and your schedule and then choose the pathway to future success. Every lesson is based on practical English that you can use in the real world such as keeping conversations going, taking part in discussions, giving descriptions of places, telling stories and so on. The lessons are organised into themes that are either related to your work, social or everyday life.

English for WorkBusiness EnglishThis course is designed to further improve your business communication skills including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing and speaking. The classroom environment will mirror your real business life and your classmates will be other professionals, sharing real ideas and solutions and helping you to build your professional network.
