Go to T-code SCC4 then go to change mode and press new entry.

Now enter a (unused) client number along with a short description and other details.

After that please save the screen.

Now You have to change the parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar " value from 1 to 0 in INSTANCE PROFILE only and not in the DEFAULT profile.

Proceed as follows:

1- Run T-Code RZ10

2- Select instance profile from F4.

3- Select extended maintenance and click change.

4- Click on create Parameter button.

5- Input "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar" infront of "Parameter name:" 6- Input "0" infront of "Parameter val.:" 7- Click copy.

8- Click F3 or back button.

9- Click Copy. 10- Click F3 or Back Button.

11- Save the changes and press yes button to confirm parameter value.

12- Activate the profile.

After this you need to restart your SAP instance so that the change of Parameter comes into effect.

To perform the local client copy, first we need to login into the target client( i,e newly created client)

Logging in to the new client:-

You may use the following credentials to login into the newly created client.

User = sap*

Password = pass

Enter transaction SCCL. The following screen appear. Select the required profile to copy. Select the source client (from which you want to copy) Press Scheduled as Background Job.

Select immediately. Press schedule job or F6.

Press continue for verification.

Run T-Code SCC3 to check the background process status.
