How  to  Access  MyAGNE.com  Mobile  from  an  Android  Device  

 and  Create  a  Shortcut  on  Your  Homescreen  

  MyAGNE  Mobile  provides  a  way  to  view  some  of  the  information  on  MyAGNE.com  easily  on  a  mobile  device.    The  regular  desktop  page  is  more  difficult  to  navigate,  more  difficult  to  read,  and  loads  much  more  slowly  than  MyAGNE  Mobile  on  a  mobile  device  such  as  an  iPhone,  iPad,  or  Android  phone/tablet.  

1) Open  the  Browser  app  on  your  Android  device.  

 2) Clear  the  address  bar  at  the  top  of  the  Browser  app  using  the  grey  “X”  button,  use  the  on  screen  

keyboard  to  enter:    myagne.com/m  ,  and  then  tap  the  “Go”  button  in  the  bottom  right.

 3) Tap  on  the  link  labeled  “Sign  In”,  then  enter  your  login  credentials  and  tap  the  “Sign  In”  button.  

                     

4) You  are  now  signed  in  to  MyAGNE  Mobile.    To  add  a  shortcut  to  your  homescreen,  you  need  to  first  add  MyAGNE  Mobile  to  your  “bookmarks”.      To  do  so,  press  the  Menu  button  on  your  phone.    This  is  the  actual  menu  button  on  the  phone  itself,  not  an  option  on  the  website.    When  you  press  the  button,  a  popup  menu  will  appear.    Select  the  “Save  to  Bookmarks”  option.    On  some  devices,  this  may  be  labeled  “Add  to  Bookmarks”  or  just  “Add  Bookmark”.    Tap  the  “OK”  button  to  actually  add  the  bookmark.

5) Now  that  we  have  MyAGNE  Mobile  bookmarked,  we  can  create  a  shortcut  on  the  homescreen  to  access  it  more  easily.    Press  the  Home  button  on  your  phone  to  exit  the  browser  and  go  back  to  your  homescreen.    Long  press  in  an  empty  icon  slot  on  the  homescreen.    A  long  press  is  when  you  press  the  screen  and  hold  your  finger  still  on  the  screen  for  a  few  seconds  until  a  menu  appears.    On  the  menu  which  appears,  tap  the  “Shortcuts”  option.    On  the  next  menu,  tap  the  “Bookmark”  option.  

   

 6) A  list  of  your  bookmarks  will  appear.    Find  and  tap  the  MyAGNE  Mobile  website  on  the  list  (by  

default  this  is  labeled  “AGNE  –  Associated  Grocers”).    This  will  create  a  shortcut  on  your  homescreen.
