Framework– Basically, VLEs provide access to web-based learning and
online interaction through a secure site between school and home; students, teachers and parents.

– Functions offered often include facilities for importing, creating and organising teaching materials, online tutoring, assessment as well as communication tools such as email, messaging chat and discussion.
Some examples on Internet:
• Using the Smartboard to Teach Engaging Lessons
• Subject Specific Podcasts
• Sciences
• Foreign Language Lessons The word podcast is derived from the word
BROADCAST and iPOD and reflects the idea that
a podcast is a form of broadcast which can be
carried around. PODCAST
