Beginning the Process

1. Open the Internet on your desktop or laptop.

2. Type in the URL:www.pbworks.com

3. On the right hand of the screen, click on “get started”.

Signing Up

1. A new page opens up.

2. Click on “sign up” in the upper right hand corner.

Selecting a Plan

1. Under the plan “Basic”, click on the “select” button.

Entering Your Information

1. Decide what to call your URL address, and type it into the box across the words “Choose your address”.

2. Across from “Tell us about your workspace” select an option.

3. In the drop down box, next to “Company Type” click on the down arrow and choose one option.

4. In the drop down box next to “workspace purpose” click on the down arrow and choose one option.

5. Now under the “Create your account” type in your information with a valid email address.

6. Click the Next button.

Email Confirmation

1. Read the information on the page.

2. Check your email inbox for an email from PBWorks.

Confirming the Sign Up Process

1. Click on the link of your URL in the email from PBworks to finish the sign up process.

Choosing Security Settings1. A new window

opens up.2. Select an option

for “Who can view this workspace?”

3. Select an option for “Who can edit this workspace?”

4. Underneath “Accept PBworks Terms of Service”, click on the box next to “I agree to the PBworks Terms.

5. Click on “Take me to my workspace”.

Signup Completed1. This is your

homepage.2. Now your are ready

to edit your wiki! You may edit your wiki “Frontpage”, create a page, upload files, and much more!

3. Always remember to “save” any changes after editing your wiki, and to “sign out” in the upper right-hand corner when you wish to close out your wiki and leave the computer.
