Definition: A better job market brings better employees and employers together based on ability, need, and character rather than persuasion.

Bad Job CoachingProblem: Most Job Coaches concentrate on helping people win at a terrible game and ignore character development.Paradox: Most candidates think that to get a job they must be someone they are not. But who do they plan on being after they land a job?

Solution: Teach authenticity, accountability, growth, and integrity. Concentrate on character development rather than job hunting skills.

They ignore the rest.Paradox: By ignoring all but the most desirable candidates, recruiters and employers miss an opportunity to build community and a better labor pool. A shortsighted approach hurts society.

unemployed or doing a job that is wrong for them. We call them Unengaged.

These people are poorly served by the job marketand yet it is from this pool that employers will find

hidden talent and the best value for money.

We refer to them as Unneeded.They may be good people. The problem is the market doesn’t need them.

judging aptitude for something a person isn’t already doing.

If you are good at getting a job but bad at doing it then you are bad value for money and can be toxic to an organization. Developing good character will give you the strength to identify areas that need improvement, and if that isn’t possible, the strength to realize you are unneeded and that you must pursue a different path.
