The Table

• Divided into three separate sections

• Two identical end sections

• One center section containing “hardways” and “proposition” bets


Craps – The numbers

• Two dice thrown equals 11 possible total numbers:

• 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12

• Each dice has 6 sides, so 6x6=36 combinations

The Mechanics – The Shooter

• Only 1 shooter at a time.

• Shooter must have a bet on the table

• Shooter picks the dice

• Must shoot with one hand

• Hand must be over the table at all times

• The shooters throws the dice the length of the table

• At least one dice must hit the back end of the table

• Players can elect not to throw the dice

• However, once elected to throw, you must finish the roll.

You can also bet on 4,5,6,8,10. These bets are in proportion to the odds of winning. Payoff is

Placing the 6 or 8 = 7 to 6 odds Placing the 5 or 9 = 7 to 5 odds

Placing the 4 or 10 = 9 to 5 odds

You need to bet in increments of $6 for numbers ‘6’ and ‘8’ and in increments of $5 for all other numbers.

You can only loose is the shooter throws a ‘7’

E bets are for ‘11’ The arrows point to where the player is standing

This is the same as the inside bets, but since many like to play them there is extra space on the table for these types of bets.
