BJÖRN ULVAEUS MUSIC Björn Ulvaeus was born in 1945 in Gothenberg on the west coast of Sweden. After a successful local career in Sweden with a folk group in the mid 1960s, he started his collaboration with Benny Andersson. They then went on to form ABBA with Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Even during the ABBA years, the idea of writing a musical seemed appealing and in 1981, Björn and Benny met Tim Rice and co-wrote Chess with him, which opened in the West End in 1986. In 1995 Björn and Benny opened a new musical in Sweden called Kristina Från Duvemåla, which played for three years in Sweden. In February 2002, the Swedish version of Chess opened in Stockholm. CRAIG REVEL HORWOOD DIRECTOR AND CHOREOGRAPHER Craig is a well-known face on television in the UK and all over the world as a judge on all seven series of BBC One´s Strictly Come Dancing, presented by Bruce Forsyth. Strictly Come Dancing has won numerous awards including: Broadcast Award for Best New Programme; TRIC Award for TV Entertainment Programme; RTS Award for Entertainment Programme; Broadcasting Press Guild Awards for Best Entertainment Programme and a Festival Rose d’Or Award for Best Variety Programme. As a theatre director/choreographer, Craig’s credits include: Crazy for You (South Africa); West Side Story (Prince Edward); Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal Drury Lane); Hey Mr Producer! As composer, she has written music for Peter Pan (Oxford Playhouse); A Star Danced (Watermill); The Last Fattybottypuss in the World (Regent’s Park); Tales My Lover Told Me (King’s Head); A Womb With a View (Radio 4); seven pantomimes for Chipping Norton; The Challenge (Shaw Theatre); Late and Lyrical (Jermyn Street) and Best of British (Bridewell). As pianist, she has accompanied Julian Clary in Natural Born Mincer, Fascinating Aida in Barefaced Chic, Lily Savage at the Bloomsbury, Dillie Keane in Citizen Keane and Single Again, Alvin Stardust, Barb Jungr, the Drop Dead Divas, and Two Birds and a Bloke.
