age of the students.

The story chosen for the young learners

should not be too long because it will affect

the time for the storytelling.

The pupils will be bored and lost interest.

Teacher allocates few minutes for the

preparation before the storytelling session

starts.

Preparation of the props, pupils' seating

arrangement and materials.

The length of the story must be appropriate

with the allocated time.

The story must be told and finished within

the time allocated time.

Teacher sets time for each question that will

be asked while telling the story.

e.g: Teacher only uses 2 minutes for asking a

question and obtaining the answers from

pupils during the storytelling.

Give time for pupils to response on the story

told by the teacher.

Allow them to share their opinion about the

story.

Teacher uses few minutes to pack all the

props and materials.
