1.1 Power Restoration

Primary line recovery efforts in the period have been directed in Wichap and Epinup over the period.

A further 3,250 feet (2.9% of total line length) of line has been reconstructed and energized during

the period. Total line operational to date is 98,700 feet or 89.4% of total line length.

Pole construction from Wichap repeater to the end of Epinup was completed on the 19th June and

restringing of the Epinup single phase line will be completed by the end of w/c 22 June.

Support to tree trimming at the Governor’s office was also provided during the period – this work

will be completed by 29th June.

The peak load remains around 2.1 MW or 95% of peak prior to the typhoon with night-time load

around 1.3 MW. CPUC generation load profile from 30th March to 31st May is shown in Annex 3.

At 20th June all three phase customers and 85.8% (1,491 number) of single phase customers have

been reconnected. Details are shown in Annex 2.
