Receiving The Receiving process collects receiving data and routes product to the assigned bin. This process can be used on bagged or bulk ingredients. Data that is captured includes: product, destination, weight, vendor, time/date, lot number …etc. The use of lot tracking and traceability allows the control and tracking of an ingredient as it passes through any controlled process. The automatic routing of the bulk products ensures contamination does not occur. Features include data exchange to other computer systems (importing of purchase orders or exporting of completed receipts)

Grinding The Grinding process is used to automatically control the source, particle size, and destination of a grinding process. This allows for minimal operator intervention. A custom flow graphic is used to monitor the process as it runs. Production and lot tracking data is collected for analysis. Features include auto keep-full to make sure the batching application does not run out of product. The system can also track hours of usage on the hammers and screen.

Batching The Batching process is used to automatically prompt, weigh, mix, and route product. A stored recipe directs the ingredients progress through the many stages of batching a product. Usage and lot tracking data is captured and stored for later retrieval. A custom flow graphic is used to monitor the product as it flows through the system. By surrounding the Batching process with a micro scale, the physically demanding task of hand adding bags of ingredients can be eliminated. Batching is the important process to be automated. Features include auto over-ride (eliminates the need to go to manual due to mechanical reasons) and an optional computer driven hand add interface.

Pelleting The Pelleting process is used to automatically control the entire pellet process, from the source bin to the destination bin. A stored recipe contains the parameters required for control. A custom flow graphic is used to monitor the process as it runs. Production and lot tracking data is collected for analysis. Roll & die life is tracked for maintenance purposes. Control Options include: variable bed depth cooler, crumbler position, auto-lube, lineator, and hygienizer

Loadout The Loadout process is used to automatically prompt, weigh, and load bulk trucks. Trucks are automatically loaded based on orders. Usage and lot tracking data is captured and stored for retrieval later. A custom flow graphic is used to monitor the product as it flows through the system. The data exchange feature allows orders to be imported and allows the completed load data to be exported. Optional features include: RFID interface, load by order (fills the entire order on the truck without pauses between the pockets), flushing, full tracking and traceability to the end customer.

CDHA (Computer Driven Hand Add) The Computer Driven Hand Add feature guides the user through the preparation of batching hand adds, while capturing actual weights and lots. This control is to eliminate as much human error as possible. This system can run on-demand or days ahead, depending on the customer’s preference. Features include: Bar code verification, meets HACCP and other standards

Custom Controls Custom Controls are defined as any automated control not already in a control company’s library. Custom Controls may be as small as automatically monitoring and logging a temperature, all the way to controlling a product as it flows through a plant.
