Full fit-out of National Grid’s existing offices in Solihull. This extensive project incorporated a mix of environments including office areas, conference and meeting rooms, café, gymnasium and wash room facilities.

The full strip-out and fit-out of the occupied second floor of an existing four storey building. Works also included additional minor alterations to the remaining floors. The project was sequenced to ensure that offices remained fully operational throughout the duration of the works.

Sandwell Mental Health NHS and Social Care Trust

A fast-track CAT A and CAT B fit-out of two floors to provide counselling rooms, treatment rooms, administrative areas, kitchens and WC’s. Works included full mechanical and electrical, new walls and partitioning, ceilings, floor finishes, decorations, fixtures and furnishings.

National Institute for Health & Clinical Excellence

A two phased design and refurbishment of existing offices. The first phase, comprising of refurbishment to the reception area and formation of new meeting rooms, was undertaken with out of hours working to ensure the facilities remained fully functional. The second phase, completed during weekend only hours, revived the boardroom and meeting areas.

West Midlands Fire Service

The full fit-out of the new headquarters building for the West Midlands Fire Service to provide a Fire Control Centre with specialist IT installations, stores, EMS, three comms/hub rooms, fitting bays and Safeside areas. CPL Interiors undertook the design of the M&E and the 19 true-to-life scenarios for the creation of the Safeside areas which will be used for educational purposes.

Deutsche Bank

The fast track design and build CAT B fit out of four floors for a new overseas investments administrative headquarters. The works to all floors involved the creation of Central Equipment Rooms and Satellite Equipment Rooms for IT systems and the construction of a room in the basement to house a new UPS. The standby generator, UPS and A & B supplies were designed to ensure business continuity.

University of Bristol

CPL Interiors plc worked closely with the University of Bristol and design team to complete the full refurbishment of an existing library within the Medical Sciences Building. The new library incorporates innovative design concepts to create a 21st century Learning Zone providing IT facilities, group study areas, training suites and café.
