How long will it take? The standard course duration is 41 weeks part time/external study, however times may vary depending on individual circumstances.
Is the course subsidised?If you meet the eligibility criteria the cost of the course can be subsidised by State and Commonwealth Government funding. Contact us to find out if you qualify. If not you can still enrol as a full fee student.
Future pathwaysAfter completing Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services CPC40912 you are eligible to undertake the state assessment to become a licensed plumber.
UnitsParticipants need to complete 15 units of competency, consisting of 12 core units plus 3 elective units. Unit selection for this course is for the Plumbing and Services - Operations stream which provides outcomes for licencing in Gasfitting, Drainage Work, Sanitary Work, Water Supply, Roof (Stormwater) work, Backflow Prevention and Type A Gas appliance servicing work.
