You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen
or permanent resident of Australia or a holder of a refugee or humanitarian visa.
Must permanently reside in Queensland or be
permanently employed in Queensland
Must not be currently enrolled and participating in a school program, contracted trainer’s and assessors or existing workers of any RTO.
Must be able to demonstrate RPL experience in
80% or more of the competencies required to
complete the full qualification.
*Participants are only eligible for assessment and gap training
against one eligible qualification per program period.

This qualification is designed to meet the requirements of concreters working on commercial and
residential projects and provide you with the trade skills to become a concreter.
Already working in the industry?
This qualification is offered as a blended program
consisting of recognition of prior learning and formal
classroom or workplace based training and assessment.
New to the industry? (not eligible for CSQ funding)
We offer traditional classroom training and assessment
with realistic workplace practical hands on tasks and
activities to develop your knowledge and skills to support
your pathway into employment.

Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent
industry funded body supporting employers, workers,
apprentices and career seekers in the building and
construction industry

This course is offered over a nominal duration of 2 years via workplace delivery.
Completion of twenty (20) units made up of fourteen (14) core units and six (6) elective units.
Duration: Existing workers: 2 months up to 6 months (including recognition of prior learning) New entrants: one to two years
