The Win–Win scenarioWe have chosen to expand Castle and Pryor through a network of franchisees as we believe that a crucial part of our success is down to the personal commitment of our staff. Having a network of franchisees that have their own Castle and Pryor regional business will create a perfect relationship of mutual benefit whereby our customers get an excellent service, our franchisees benefit directly from the hard work they put into their business, and we centrally benefit from economies of scale and the growth of the Castle and Pryor brand.

We have also structured our central revenue stream so that it is linked to your success. This means we have a real vested interest in all our franchisees succeeding – if you don’t succeed neither do we.

Could you be the next Castle & Pryor franchisee?Winning a Castle and Pryor franchise places you in the position to manage part of a growing and successful business, where, although you will receive practical training, you will also benefit in growing and managing your own business with the guidance and structure of senior executives within the diamond drilling and cutting sector. If you have an interest or passion within the DIY, construction or building arena and leadership and managerial skills then a Castle and Pryor franchise could be for you. Having a career in construction is not needed and in fact, a fresh approach and a new pair of eyes combined with a drive to succeed and work within an organised and coordinated support system is what’s really needed to ‘cut’ through any barriers and reach the heights of success.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSQ. Do I need to have

a background in Diamond Drilling?

A. No. We will train you in everything you need to know about how to run a successfully Castle and Pryor business including how to drill, saw and chase concrete. However as the franchisees role includes the franchisee concrete drilling, sawing and chasing the franchisee must be practically minded and physically fit. It will also be a distinct advantage if you have experience of working on constructions sites.

Q. Is it possible to finance part of the capital cost?

A. Yes. Most of the high street banks have a franchise department and are very supportive of franchising.

Q. Are there any other ongoing fees?

A. Yes. We charge a National Marketing Fee of 2.5% of your income net of VAT which is paid monthly. We also charge a Telemarketing & Enquiry handling fee to help franchisees secure business and handle enquiries when the franchisee is out on site.  We will waive this fee, but continue to provide this service for the first 6 months of a franchisees business to help the franchisee whilst they get their business established.

training at our Head Office and practical training out on site.

Q. How much does training cost?A. The cost of the initial training is

included within the Franchise Licence Fee. The only items not covered are your own expenses that may include travel costs, accommodation and subsistence eg; meals.
