    Bankston Signs with MACU

    Homecoming Court 2016

    Sophomore softball player Taylor Bankston signed a national letter of intent to continue her softball career at Mid-America Christian University next fall. Bankston is a criminal justice major and plans to even-tually pursue a masters in psychology and become a forensic psychologist.

    Prior to the homecoming basketball game, emcee Henry Macharia announced the MSC Homecoming King and Queens.

    2016 Homecoming King and Queen, representing Phi Beta Lambda, Robert McMillin and Katie Carroll; first runner-up, representing Physical Therapy Assistant Program, Jacob Dupree and Morgan Tice; second run-ner-up, representing NICHE, Issac Butler and Corbyn Kelly.

    Veterans DayHelp MSC thank the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom by joining SVA for the raising of the flag at 7:45 a.m. and retirement of the flag at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 11.

    Aggie Spotlight

    Makade Christenen is a sophomore animal nutrition/animal science major. He came to Murray State College from Redmond, Utah as a livestock judger. After graduating from Murray, he plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree before return-ing home to Utah. When asked about his favorite memory of MSC, Christensen said, “I have loved meeting new people and having the opportunity to travel around with the livestock judging team.”

    When asked to describe Mr. Christensen, Brian Cothran said, “Makade is a young man who is respected by his peers for his honesty and sincerity. He is a valued member of the MSC Livestock Judging Team and employee of the MSC Clyde Kindell Farm.”

    Raegin Eddings is a freshman agriculture major from Madill, OK. Upon graduation, Eddings plans to pursue an Agriculture Communications degree at Oklahoma State University and then pursue a degree in Agriculture Law. She is a member of the Murray State College Leadership Class and is student government treasurer.

    When asked to descirbe Ms. Eddings, Brian Cothran said, “Raegin is a very high performing student who excels in general biology. Her competitive nature drives her pursuit of excellence.”
