The new health and safety guidelines outlined in this document will quickly evolve into a standard level of service within all Clarence locations. We will continue to monitor Australia’s National COVID-19 safe workplace principles, Department of Health and the World Health organisation to ensure the latest best practices and a consistent approach in relation to coronavirus.

Entry / Exit To Our Locations

• Freestanding dispensers to be located at the entry/exit of all location floors

• Visible signage displaying detailed health and safety guidelines

• Posters placed around the workplace talking about keeping at least 1.5 metres distance between everyone

• Erection of signs at the entrances to lifts and meeting rooms to ensure the safe maximum people capacity is not exceeded

• Directional signage that guides where people should walk in hallways to maintain safe distance in the kitchen facilities and where to stand in lifts

Reception / Waiting Areas

• Hand sanitiser provided in reception/waiting areas

• Removal of all non-essential items including but not limited to additional chairs / water jugs / glassware / newspapers & magazines and fruit

• Removal of cushions and any textiles

• Visible signage displaying detailed health and safety guidelines

• Installation of floor decals to provide visible social distancing spacing

• Easy access to sanitiser and disinfectant wipes to members and guests placed at logical access points

• The telephone numbers of health authorities and hospitals will be immediately available for when there is a suspected case on premises

• Sign-in (check-in form) keeping track of all visitors with their contact details will be filed in case needed for contact tracing

• Frequent hand washing

• Using sanitiser

• Covering face with elbow or tissue when sneezing

• Posters strategically placed around the workplace on keeping at least 1.5 metres distance between everyone

Bathrooms And Toilets

• Bathrooms will be well stocked with hand wash and paper towels

• Visible signage displaying detailed health and safety guidelines

• Posters with instructions on how to hand wash/hand rub e.g. Practise simple hygiene by washing hands regularly sign on all doors

• Behind all toilet doors poster reminding guests to wash their hands on both stall doors and exit doors and behind all toilet exit doors a poster reminding guests have you forgotten to wash your hands?

Deliveries

• Detailed health and safety guidelines

• Signs to instruct delivery personnel where packages can be dropped off

• A clear location for members and guests to drop off packages

Meeting Rooms

• A 15-minute time block before each meeting to allow a team member to perform a deep clean. A deep clean is disinfecting of all surfaces and disinfecting of the air by spray or air cleaning system

• Visible signage displaying:

• Detailed health and safety guidelines

• Maximum room capacity

• Reduce capacity in meeting rooms (indoor gatherings) to 1 person per 4 square metres of floor space

• Hand sanitiser and tissue box to be provided in each meeting room

• Removal of all non-essential items including but not limited to additional chairs / water jugs, glassware and rubbish bin

• Log of all meeting guests with contact details

• Ask all meeting room attendees to take their own rubbish (minimise contact)

• Reduce capacity in meeting rooms (indoor gatherings) to 1 person per 4 square metres of floor space

• Hand sanitiser and tissue box to be provided

• Removal of all non-essential items including but not limited to additional chairs

Shared Spaces (Kitchen / Café and breakout)

• Ensure as much equipment as possible can be used hands-free (soap, bins etc)

• Removal of any bottlenecks around coffee machines so multiple members can use equipment at the same time

• Put a capacity limit sign on each of the shared areas – based on 1 person per 4sqm guideline

• No communal snacks that aren’t individually wrapped

• Sign near water fountains to remind not to put mouth of bottle near tap

• Provide easy access to cleaning materials so members may do additional cleaning they deem necessary
