COVID-19 HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES
GENERAL GUIDANCEFOR HOUSEKEEPING STAFF
Frequently wash hands with soap
and water for at least 20 seconds.
When soap and running water are
unavailable, use an alcohol-based
hand rub with at least 60% alcohol.
Always wash hands that are visibly
soiled.

1. Limit Guest/Housekeeper Interaction
Maid Service will only be completed if the apartment is unoccupied.
a. If resident is home at scheduled time, and they want apartment cleaned, we ask that all occupants vacate the apartment until cleaning is complete.
b. If resident is home at scheduled time, and they do not want housekeeping, or to vacate the apartment, we can offer clean linens and towels.
c. Apartment cleanings take about an hour to an hour and a half
2. Our housekeeping team will have the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on each housekeeping service.
a. Gloves b. Face masksc. Sleeve coversd. Shoe coverse. Aprons
3. Our housekeeping team is equipped with CDC approved cleaning materials that are:
a. Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectanti. This product has a 45 second kill time for COVID19
b. Diluted bleach solution
4. Murphy’s will reschedule your housekeeping if: a. You report to us: You think you have been exposed to COVID-19
and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing
b. Our staff reports they have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or
mouth with unwashed hands.
Practice good respiratory
etiquette, including covering
coughs and sneezes.
Avoid close contact with people
who are sick.
Stay home if sick.
