It is our pleasure to introduce Bhojraj Chanrai Sankara Eye Hospital. We come under the

umbrella of Sankara Eye Care Institutions (www.sankaraeye.com ). Born at Coimbatore in

involve

1. Visual Acuity measures your vision and is the start of your exam.

2. Retinoscopy & Refraction allow the optometrist determine your glass prescription.

3. Tonometry test may be done to determine eye pressure.

4. A slit-lamp is used to examine your eye structure.

5. Dilatation is done using drops which take between 30-45 minutes to work. This

allows a better view of the inside structure of the eye (retina) and/or to obtain

appropriate eye power in children.

6. Doctor would re-examine and advice medication, glasses, specialized investigations,

LASERs or Surgery based on his ndings.
