Here, as Manager – Corporate Sales & Retail, I looked and improved upon daily sales operations and dealerships in customer service, and trained new sales joiners in the team. My core competencies included meeting and greeting customers, generating and distributing leads, supervising test drives, briefing about warranty and placing orders for clients. Prior to this, I was employed at Hewlett Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd. as a Customer Sales and Support Manager. I lead the end to end contracting process post signature including support to contract integration, change management, governance activities, up sells and renegotiations. Effective implemented alternate recovery plans to overcome supply/demand issues. Working in the IT sector, I realized the most arduous sales task lies on the other side of the table – the Aftersales. I Investigated, documented and resolved regulatory issues and prepared compliance reports for the management. I was also responsible for verifying documents so no Anti Money Laundering is done either on Customer’s or Partner’s part. Preceding HP, I was engaged with American Express India Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Credit Analyst supporting end to end supplier relationship management process, negotiating cost and price analysis, sourcing governance and leading the contract management process. I was in charge of developing proforma statements and cash flow projections and was monitoring closely the Anti Money Laundering and Factoring to filter faulty customers. Previously, I worked with Jet Airways as a Flight Steward to appease my appetency for travelling. Because I loved to travel, I started working with Jet but soon realized that this wasn’t the job that will do justice to my intellect and capabilities. It was a hasty decision to have landed myself solely serving my passions and not my dreams. But before I left, I learned patience, learned to be amiable, cordial and genteel regardless of the fret. My background has afforded me many "intangible" qualifications one can't learn from a book.
