INTRODUCTION

This booklet is not an introductionto the tarot for readings. It is rather amanual for the person who intends toput the tarot cards to use for spells. It isa how-to book, in which you can findexact instruction on how to set up thetarot cards to get the desired effect.

Most people know the tarot onlyas a tool for divination. Each of the tarotcards represents a field of experience and/or a function in life. In a tarot reading,you shuffle the cards and then you laythem out in a specific manner such asthe Celtic Cross Method or the Tree ofLife Method. Then you judge each cardby its position in the layout and how itrelates to the other cards. From this youcan then derive important statementsabout the person for whom you arereading.

Here we are talking about spells.When you give a tarot reading, youchannel energies from the universetoward yourself. You use the cards asindicators of what the universe tells you.If you do a spell with the tarot, you usethe cards as energy filters.

In the case of a spell, the tarotcards represent the energies that you areabout to send off. I have mentionedabove that each tarot card represents afield of experience, or a function, or anidea. As such, each tarot card is anarchetypal symbol. To combine tarotcards means to combine ideas.Consequently the tarot cards are an ideal

tool to creatively act upon your universein magical operations.

A magical operation is any actionat a distance that involves the use ofstructural links and life energy, or psychicpower. Therefore, to be effective inmagical work, you need a source of lifeenergy, a psychic link to the target ofyour operation (unless the target of yourmagical operation is present), and astructural link that represents the specificaction that you desire. The success ofevery magical work depends on thesethree key factors.

The better the psychic link to yourtarget is, the easier you can influence itwith a magical operation, or spell. Psychiclinks for targeting are structural links thatare near- identical with the target. Hairand fingernails contain the genetic codethat is unique for every individual. Thisgenetic code allows you to connect withevery cell in the body of the targetperson. Clothing has a similar effect. Thisis so because clothing has skin rubbingsin it even after it went through the washerand drier. Other good psychic links withthe target are visualization, the writingdown of the name (which involvesvisualization), and radionic settings.These psychic links are not of the identicalkind, but of an “equivalent nature.”Equivalent structural links are an excellentsubstitute in cases where near identicallinks are not available. A radionics settingis such an equivalent structural link, andso is any design symbolizing the targetperson of your operation. Karl Hans Welz is fromTelfs in Tyrol, near Innsbruck,Austria. At a very early age, he hasdeveloped a fascination for sciencein general and for the stars inparticular.

Consequently, he has read eagerly anybook on astronomy, astrophysics, mathematicsand physics that he could get hold of. At age 16,he became interested in the subject of hypnosis.He began studying this discipline, later heperfected Autogenic Training and eventually, atage 18, he began the practice of Hatha Yoga.This practice strengthened his then frail bodywithin a few weeks and his overall condition andhealth improved considerably. Quite naturally,these spectacular results gave Karl an incentiveto explore other sciences that were not part ofhis academic curriculum. Studies and practicein astrology, practical magic, rune magic, andpractice of various forms of l ife energytechnology such as astral traveling andclairvoyance followed within one year. He studiedthe works of Mesmer, Korschelt, vonReichenbach, Tesla, Lahkowski, and others. Atage 19, Karl began his graduate studies inmathematics and physics. Several times, heinterrupted his academic studies to travelextensively. In the course of these travels, hegained valuable information about magicalpractices and the use of life force in manycultures and traditions and he met many giftedteachers and adepts on the subject matter.

During his stays in South Africa,Switzerland, Berlin, and, since 1974, the UnitedStates of America, he continued his studies, whichhe then rounded off with general semantics,radionics, Reichian psychology, and orgonephysics. Shortly after his arrival in the UnitedStates, he built his first orgone accumulators andconducted multiple experiments with theseamazing devices. It was obvious that what Reichcalled orgone was the same form of energy thathe had explored for more than a decade beforeknowing of Reich. In fact, a device he built yearsearlier following the plans of Korschelt was anorgone accumulator. Korschelt called his devicea “Solar Ether Radiation Apparatus” — its plansare dating back to 1897. Mesmer’s barrels withiron filings, also built and tested by Welz yearsbefore he studied Reich, were obviously theearliest orgone accumulators of which we knowthat were built by a scientist with theaccumulation of life force in mind. Therefore,we can safely say that Franz Anton Mesmer hasinvented the life force accumulator one and ahalf centuries before Reich.

Soon he realized that orgone can beprojected at any distance and that this projectionfollows structural links. This is a fact that wasevident to people of all ages and cultures whoharnessed life force, such as shamans, conjurers,spiritual workers, magicians, and healers. For a strong effect of the spell, youneed a strong source of life energy. Manymagicians create their own energy asthey need it. The creating of psychicenergy, or life energy, is an integral partof every magical ritual. The third, equally important, factoris the “energy filter.” This energy filter isa structural representation of a desiredaction or of a specific energy (entity) thatworks toward a desired result. Thisstructural link to the action, or energyfilter, needs to be a correctrepresentation of the intention of themagician. Otherwise the spell may notbe effective or it may have an unexpectedoutcome. We are back at the tarot cardsfull circle. The tarot cards are a systemof such energy filters that can be appliedto practically all situations.

For all these reasons, to be a goodmagician means years of training,practice, and study. Or does it? Many of the spell books on themarket make the task of casting effectivespells seem easy, and all too often would-be magicians get only meager results.This is so, because they are not capableof creating the psychic connection(structural link) with the target or theycannot generate a sufficiently large

Using the instructions given here,you can set up an effective tarot spellwith a Welz Chi Generator (such as theJU 99 CE, or LPOG 2400 DL) and a deckof tarot cards. To hone your skills further,I strongly recommend that you purchasea good introduction in the tarot. Irecommend highly Eden Gray’sMASTERING THE TAROT or any other ofEden Gray’s books. The best deck forthe spell work is the RIDER WAITE TAROTDECK. With very few exceptions, mostother tarot decks are outcroppings ofartistic fantasies rather than symbolicallycorrect representations of universalarchetypes. Experience taught us thatsymbolically correct representationsmake magical work much easier. Mygood education prevents me from givingmy opinion about the books on tarotspells that are presently on the market.


THE TAROT CARDS

The Tarot deck has 78 cards. Eachcard has a specific meaning. The Tarotdeck has 22 major Arcana and 4 suits ofminor Arcana. The major Arcanarepresent universal energies, or universalideas. The four sets of minor Arcanarepresent energies that are more specific.These energies relate to the fourelements of fire, water, air, and earth.

The books by Eden Gray are verygood introductions into the understandingof the tarot cards. For the moreadvanced person I suggest the book “TheTarot of the Bohemians” by Papus.

The purpose of this book is to giveyou a series of Tarot Spells that you canadjust to many situations of magicalwork.

In the following, you find theabbreviations that we are going to use inthe descriptions of all spells in this book.

1. The Major Arcana:

2. The Minor Arcana

Each card of the minor Arcanaappears in the following manner:

K for King, QU for Queen, KN for Knight,and PG for Page.

The cards from 1 through 10 carrytheir respective number:1 is for the Ace, two for the two, etc.

The suits are as follows:wd for wands, cp for cups, sw for swords,and pt for pentacles.

Examples: 2 cp = Two of Cups.Kn sw = Knight of Swords1 pt = Ace of Pentacles10 wd = Ten of Wands.

3. Stacks of Cards in the Tarot LayoutDescription:

Some set up of spells requirestacks of two or more cards. When wedescribe a spell, these stacks of cardsappear in the following manner:

1 cp / VIII / 9 cp means that the Nine ofPentacles is at the bottom, above it isStrength, and on top of the stack is theAce of Cups!

HOW TO SET UP A TAROT SPELL

For a spell you can set up the Tarotcards in two ways. The first method isto lay out the card after card, startingfrom the front end of the Welz ChiGenerator or, if you still do not have one,from where you are standing (if on thefloor) or sitting (if the layout is on thetable). Usually, you put the link to thetarget with the last card of the layout.

Some of the positions may be stacks oftwo, three, or four cards, rather thansingle cards. The second method consistsof stacking the cards, and putting thestack standing between the output of theWelz Chi Generator and the structural linkto the target. If cards branch to the sidesuch as in some of the love spells, youslide the side cards a bit into the stack sothat their position is evident.

ARRANGEMENT #1

The following is a spell for successin business. It will serve as an exampleof how to set up the cards in front of theWelz Chi Generator.

First you set up the Welz ChiGenerator. About two inches in front ofthe output pipe of the generator, you putthe first card, which in our case is thecard #8 of the major Arcana: STRENGTH(VIII). Put the card down face up, withthe bottom of the card closest to theoutput of the EPG and the top of the cardon the far end. This is the upright positionof a card. When a card is reversed, youput it down with the top end closer tothe output pipe.

Next to STRENGTH (VIII), at its top end,is THE HIGH PRIESTESS (II).

The next card is THE MAGICIAN (I), then

The HANGED MAN (# XII), then

The HIEROPHANT (# V), followed by

The WHEEL OF FORTUNE (card # X ofthe major arcana), which is followed bya STACK of 4 cards and the psychic linkto the person for whom the spell isperformed:

Bottom card: the THREE OF WANDS, ontop of it the NINE OF CUPS, which iscovered by the TEN OF PENTACLES, ontop of it the SIGNIFICATOR OF THE


PERSON for whom you perform the spell,and on top of it the PSYCHIC LINK tothat person.

The choice of the significator canbe a problem for the person who is notfamiliar with the tarot. Use the followingguidelines:

Pages: Persons of both sexes up to 15years of age.Knights: Persons of both sexes,unmarried, age 16 to 25.Queens: Women, married, or over 25years of age.Kings: Men, married, or over 25 yearsof age.

The four suits relate to basiccharacteristics of the person:Cups: Spiritual persons, scholars, artists,or priests.Pentacles: Materialistic persons orbusiness persons.Wands: Farmers, laborers, earthypersons.Swords: aggressive persons, military,police, justice

2. Settings

Chi Generators of the “Junior”series have fixed frequencies. Set othergenerators at a flickering rate, at thethreshold of where you perceive theflickering as a continuous light. In otherwords: the flickering should be so fastthat you barely can perceive it as such.You can use a pendulum or a stick pad todetermine the optimal rate of flickering(frequency) for the situation. In fact, anyfrequency that you choose will work. Seta very slow blinking speed if you knowthat the target person is asleep duringthe time when you perform the spell.

OTHER REMARKS: The only thing that iscrucial is the set up of the tarot cards.The frequency of the Welz Chi Generatoris of secondary importance. This holdsfor all tarot spells. Experience will teachyou what settings and what timing is bestfor every purpose. A good rule is to seta slow frequency when the target personis likely to be asleep and a higherfrequency when the person is in a wakingstate. Keep the machine running for aday or two, then stop for a day, thenstart up again. Alternatively you can havethe machine only running while the targetperson is asleep or you can keep itrunning while the target person is in awaking state.

If you do the above business spellfor yourself it is good to have a transferdiagram on the spell instead of thesignificator for yourself. You carry theidentical diagram with you. Better yet isthe transfer couple that you get with yourChi Generator, of which one part is withthe last card of the spell arrangement,while you carry the other part onyourself. I strongly suggest that you keepthe machine running while you are doingbusiness. This is even more important, ifyou set up a spell that gives you an edgein negotiations.

ARRANGEMENT #2

Welz Chi Generator / Tarot Stack / Target-Link / Picture Frame

The second arrangement issomewhat easier to set up than the firstone. All cards and the psychic link ortransfer diagram are in one stack. Youlean this stack onto a vertical surface suchas a box or a picture frame. The cardthat is closest to the Welz Chi Generatorin arrangement #1 (in our example it’sSTRENGTH) will face the output pipe ofthe generator in arrangement #2. Thepsychic link is the one closest to thepicture frame.

If you are a beginner in performingTarot spells, it is an advantage to usearrangement #1 on every spell beforeyou proceed to arrangement #2. This isso because arrangement #1 gives youbetter insights into the working of thespell.

Important: The timing given with theindividual spells that follow are for middleof the line devices such as the LPOG 2400DL or RAD 2000. Run the devices of the“Junior” series three to four times as long,and the HD devices (RAD 2400 HD andLPOG 2400 HD) about one third thetimes given here.

INTRODUCTION

As far as we look back in writtenhistory we find reports of magic. If wego beyond written history and analyzearchaeological objects, we can find manythat we can explain as being magical. Wefind also magical practices with peoplethat are still living in the Stone Age.

From this we can safely concludethat magic is as old as mankind.Immediately the question arises whethermagic is traditional in principle or whethersomeone some time back actuallyinvented the principles of this science.

It is my opinion that magicalinteraction with the environment is aresult of empirical insights. Early humanshad experiences such as precognition ofextra sensory perception. For instance,the have been very angry at anotherperson and this person suffered someharm soon afterwards. From suchconsistent experiences it is only a smallstep toward actively repeating theexperience. The creativity of earlyhumans has not been blocked by rigidscientific dogmas telling them of how theworld around is supposed to look andfunction. The space time concepts ofthese beings followed the experiencethey had. This experience naturallyincluded magical practice and the resultsof this practice. Therefore the conceptsof space that these humans had wereessentially different from our averageconcepts. With such flexible concepts

they were better equipped to performmagical action than most humans of ourdays.

Our times experience a surge inmagical practice. The problem that manypractitioners face in our days is their ownrigidified concepts of the environment inwhich they live. This environment haslost its magic in the true meaning of theword! People who have beenconditioned at an early age to acceptrigidified pop scientific concepts on theone hand and religious indoctrination onthe other find it very difficult to acceptmagical action as something totallynatural. LESSON IIYOUR FIRST TALISMAN

Practice is the best teacher! It willhelp you understand the principles thatare involved with the making oftalismans. This is the reason why youwill go ahead to make your first talismannow, in this second lesson.

The talisman that I have chosenfor you to make has been around for atleast 1900 years. It is the famous SatorArepo talisman. Many people haveappreciated it because of its manifoldpowers that its inscription connects with.

The Sator Arepo Talisman, its effects, itshistory.

In the book, The Egyptian Secrets ofAlbertus Magnus, you find anotherreference to this talisman. There theauthor claims that you can extinguish afire when you throw into the flames a tinplate that has this square engraved. Thisrecipe obviously has a hidden meaningrather than a literal one. You find suchhidden meanings in many of the oldmagical books, or grimoires. The hiddenmeaning in this previous statement is thefollowing: the talisman can calm downanger and rage (fire), especially when itis sent off with an attitude of benevolenceand optimism. You find the reference tobenevolence and optimism in thestatement about the metal, tin. Tin isruled by Jupiter, the planet that bringsbenevolence and optimism into our lives.Engrave the Sator Arepo talisman on atin disk and it will help you control angerand rage, your own or of people withwhich you are dealing. One important characteristic of thistalisman is that it can help get rid of anykind of haunting, spooking and the like.

Some persons draw a diagram onthe back side of the talisman. Thisdiagram represents the structure of thelettering on the front side. It increasesthe sensitivity of the person wearing thetalisman still more.

INSTRUCTIONS OF HOW TO

MAKE YOUR FIRST TALISMAN

I will keep the instructions thatfollow as simple as possible. As youcontinue with your practice, I am goingto explain each of the steps that you are

going to take. If you do follow thesesteps with care, you will end up with afine talisman that will be a good help foryou for the time to come. In addition tothis, you will be able to use this talismanto make other talismans. This is so,because you can intensify the energiesof other talismans with it.

To make this talisman you proceedstep by step as listed below. Irecommend that you follow these stepswith every talisman that you make.

1. Procuring the materials (incl. oilsand incenses) or making sure thematerials are available.

Before you start making atalisman, you need to be sure that youhave all the materials that you need.Most of the time this means to go outand buy or otherwise procure thesematerials. In more involved situations,you need to follow some rules when youprocure the materials. Some herbs, forinstance, have more magical potencywhen they are harvested at specifictimes. If you prepare herbal tincturesusing methods of alchemy, you mayneed to wait for specific astrological“windows” or you can generate theseenergies in other ways such as with aChi Generator. If you are a practicingmagician, chances are that you havemost materials available. In this case allyou need to do is getting the materialsfrom your resources.


The materials that you need toconsider are: materials for the makingof the talismans, materials of the talismanproper, and materials that you need forthe ceremonial of making the talismansuch as incense for fumigation and oilsfor special charging the talisman.

For your Sator Arepo Talisman youneed:a. Your altar, covered with a whitetablecloth. You can use a table.b. Something that represents the threeelements of fire, water, and air. Thetalisman will be the synthesis of the three,the earth element.Censor with frankincenseWhite candleCup with waterA cord to make the outline of a triangleon the altar3. A sheet of parchment. Parchment isdifficult to find. You can use a sheet ofpaper, parchtone paper or parchmentpaper instead and clear foil to laminatethe paper.

2. Set up your workspace

You make the talisman in aceremonial setting that is not unlike thesetup of an altar. To make your SatorArepo talisman it is good if you do this ina ceremonial setting from beginning toend.

On your table, set up a trianglelarge enough to contain the utensilsrepresenting the elements. The tip of theequilateral triangle should point awayfrom you. Its base should be close toyou. There should be sufficient spacebetween the base of the triangle and youto allow making your talisman with ease.

Set the white candle in the cornerof the triangle that is farthest away fromyou. Put the cup with water into the leftcorner of the triangle and the incenseburner into the right corner.

This altar set up has to do withthe four magical elements of fire, water,air, and earth. You can learn more aboutthe elements and the aligning of theseelements in the Course in CosmicConsciousness, which is available fromHSCTI.

In front of the triangle and outsideof it put the utensils that you need forthe making of the talisman: parchment,pen or quill, ink (if you use a quill),lamination sheets, stencils for the circle,a ruler, and scissors.

5. Mentally cleanse the materials whichyou use to make the talisman, especiallythe parchment or paper. Imagine allenergy leaving the material and draininginto the ground.

6. Choice of the timing.The choice of the right time for the

making of a talisman is of greatimportance. Therefore it is good for thetalismanologist to learn the basic principlesof magical astrology. Sometalismanologists prefer to have anastrologer select the correct time forthem. The chosen time is such that thecosmic constellations reflect the purposeof the talisman. A love talisman, forexample, is very good when Venus ispowerful and in good aspect with Mars.

Approximate methods consist ofsetting up the desired planetary energieswithin the realm in which you make thetalisman. If you use an approximation,you are not dependent on the time. Youcreate a greenhouse of astrological

When in the meditative state, youare aware of the work that you are goingto do. Draw power from the universewhile you know that you are gettingstronger and stronger.

8. Make the TalismanNow you are ready to actually

make the talisman. Again light the candleand project energy into it. Do this in theawareness that the candle is a symbol ofthe energies of light and of the fireelement. Focus on the water and projectenergy into it. Then light the incense andenergize it.

Sitting in front of the table you takeyour piece of parchment and draw asquare on it. The size of the squareshould be between 1 1/2 and 2 inches.Draw vertical and horizontal lines into thesquare so that you end up with a squarethat has five rows and five columns.Draw a circle around the square. Thenput the letters into the square.

After you have finished drawing,cut out the round talisman.

9. Charging the Talisman.If you have followed my

instructions up to now, the talismancontains already a significant charge, andyou will increase this charge to themaximum possible.

You charge the talisman by slowlytracing all the lines and letters andprojecting energy into it. You can use apointed tool that you hold in your handssuch as a toothpick. Trace the lines veryslowly. While you trace them, you feelenergy flow from your arm into thetalisman. Feel the energy build up on itas you proceed with your tracing. Repeatthe tracing of all lines and letters overand over again.

From time to time hold thetalisman two or three inches in front ofthe center between your eyes. You maynotice some tingling or a similarsensation. This feeling will increase asyou proceed charging the talisman. Ifyou cannot feel the tingling you need notbe discouraged. With practice you willfind your best method to feel the energybuildup in an object such as a talisman.

Keep charging the talisman untilyou feel good about the energy that youhave accumulated in it. While charging itis best that you do not focus on thepurpose of the talisman. Simply keepprojecting energy into it. Using a Chi

10. Checking the TalismanWhen you have finished charging

SATURN: Lead. Lead is easy to workwith, but toxic. Therefore, it should nothave contact with the bare skin. You mayuse parchment and draw a circle aroundthe talismanic symbols, using a lead pin.Another way is to carry the talisman ofSaturn in a little leather bag.

Lead is very easy to work with,since it is very soft and it melts at a low


temperature. It can be engraved with anyengraving tool.

JUPITER:Tin. Tin is easy to work with, and it canbe in touch with your skin. Therefore, youcan work a Jupiter talisman as a pendant.Tin can be engraved with an engravingtool, or it can be etched with hydrochloricacid.

MARS:Iron. Not to be confused with steel, whichis an alloy of iron (Mars) with coal(Saturn). Iron can be etched withhydrochloric acid, or engraved with anengraving tool.

SUN:Gold. Naturally, a good sized goldentalisman will require a good sized amountof money. As a substitute you can usebronze.

VENUS:Copper. It easy to work with and easyto etch. It is soft enough for engravingtools. Etching fluids for copper arecommercially available.

MERCURY:Its metal, mercury, is liquid, and verypoisonous. Some metaphysicists suggestcopper which is gold plated, using themetal mercury in the plating process. Thisprocess has some drawbacks, above allthat hardly any business uses this methodof gold plating.

In our days, German silver is used,and brass.

MOON:Silver. Silver is easy to work with, and itsprice is affordable.

PLANETARY COLORS

Tradition ascribes colors to theplanets. In the following, I will mentionvarious colors with each planet. However,the first color mentioned is the color ofthe sign of the sign which is the dailythrone of the planet.

One exception: The Moon: itsthrone is cancer, which is a “night sign”.

The whole question leads to thezodiacal colors of light energy and thezodiacal color shades of life energy, whichwould go beyond the scope of this lessonto be discussed here.

LESSON 5

MAKING A PLANETARY TALISMAN

1. The Timing

You have your talisman designed. Nowyou want to determine the right timewhen to make the talisman. One of themost commonly used ways of timing amagical action such as making a talismanis following the system of planetary daysand hours. According to this practice, aVenus talisman is best made on the dayof Venus, which is Friday, during the hourof Venus. While there is agreementconcerning the planetary days (after all,the days are named after planets), thereare several methods of calculating theplanetary hours. The system most in usebegins the day of the planet at six p.m.

Personally, I have made talismans thathad no inscription at all and I have madethem completely disregarding anyconsiderations of time and astrologicalpositions. These talismans were very


strong, of course. Before you attemptto do the same, you need to have a veryadvanced knowledge of the processesinvolved.

On the other hand, by observing as manytalismanic elements as possible, you canmake talismans which are equal, evenbetter, than many talismans that aremade by professional talismanologists.

2. Cleansing the materials

If you work with metal, you can cleansewith the four elements. The four elementsare very important in talismanic work ofthe Western traditions. For more aboutthem see the course in cosmicconsciousness:http://www.meditrance.com.If you are not familiar with the fourelements, there is no reason to panic.For now, it is sufficient for you to followthe procedures which are outlined below.The cleansing effect will be there nomatter whether you are knowledgeableof the elements or whether you haveabsolutely no idea thereof.

First, have the metal in a dish with sand,or earth, for a day. As you put the metalinto the dish, you strongly visualize(imagine) that any impurity which pertainsto the earth element will be absorbed bythe earth or sand in the dish. Discard theearth after you have taken the metal diskout of it. Next, you put the disk in waterfor one day. Proceed the same way aswith earth. Next, you heat the metal overa candle flame (with a pair of pliers, ofcourse), strongly imagining that allimpurities pertaining to the fire elementare cleansed away, and last you cool thenmetal by swinging it through the air incircles. While you do that, you imaginethat all impurities which pertain to the airelement are blown out of the disc ofmetal.

If the material is paper or parchment, youproceed in a different way, of course. First,light a candle. Then, light some incense.A stick of frankincense is excellent. Thisis, so, because frankincense has superiorcleansing qualities. Have a cup with waterand a dish with earth on the altar. Whatfollows is a process of imagination, aswas with the metal disc. After a briefmeditation, look at the paper orparchment. See it connected with the fourelements which are symbolized by theobjects on your table. Imagine that theimpurities are drawn away for thetalisman to be. Finally, take the talisman,hold it in your hand, and strongly blowon it, imagining that all impurities areblown out of it into their respectiveelements. Blow first, connecting with thefire element. Next connect with the airelement, then with water, and finally withearth. Similar procedures apply to crystalsand gemstones. Those may also be putinto salt water for a day or so. Salt is auniversal cleanser that absorbs impurities.Therefore, you can also use salt for metaland for paper or parchment. In this lattercase salt is recommended, of course, andnot salt water. When working with salt,be sure to imagine that the impurities willbe absorbed.

A focus on the four elements will enhanceas well: First, imagine the impurities offire being absorbed by the salt, then theimpurities of the air element, then of thewater element, and finally of the earthelement. The cleansing, of course, hasto be done before the time that youdetermined the making of the talisman.

3. The set up

Clean off a table. On the table, put thingsrepresenting the four elements: A candle,incense, a cup with water, and a dish withearth, or sand. Instead of the dish withearth, you can use a crystal. Arrange theobjects as shown below. Now, set the

Sator Arepo talisman that you made inlesson two on the table, at the center ofthe four elements. Your workspace is infront of the symbolism of the fourelements. The Sator Arepo talismanserves as an intensifier of the planetaryenergies you will put into the talismanthat you are going to make. If you makethe Venus talisman that we described inthe preceding lesson, you can begin withthis at the hour of Venus on the day ofVenus. Four hours are available for thispurpose: Thursday evening from 6 to 7p.m., Friday early morning from 1 to 2a.m. (ideal!), Friday morning from 8 to 9a.m., and Friday afternoon from 3 to 4p.m. Have your parchment ready, andthe green colored pen (Venus).

4. Drawing the talisman

Enter a brief meditation. If you arefamiliar with the ONENESS meditation, orcosmic consciousness meditation, bringyourself into this state of alignment ofthe four elements.

Now, begin to draw the talisman on theparchment. Draw slowly, and whiledrawing project energy into the talisman.You may imagine green Light beingprojected into the talisman with everyline you are drawing. This way, you chargethe talisman as you are drawing it. GreenLight projection is especially easy andpowerful on the day of Venus during thehour of Venus. The Sator Arepo talismanintensifies those energies. Your state ofbeing ONE is a still more excellent supportof what you are doing.

5. Further charging

Ideally, after you finished drawing thetalisman, you can go ahead and chargeit even more. Mentally trace every line ofthe talisman, project energy into it, lookat the various symbols and numbers.Proceed this way until you feel good aboutthe result, or until the end of the hour ofVenus.


CONCLUSION

In this course, you have gained a goodimpression of what is involved in themaking of talismans and you have gainedpractical experience in doing so. Theprocess of charging the talismans thatyou learned here is but one of manymethods. Planetary talismans are veryuseful. Therefore I suggest that youmake all seven for yourself. The talismanswhich you do not use, you put best in aglass or plastic jar with a glass or plasticlid. You may use the talismans selectively,depending on what you intend to do. It isan advantage for the beginner to carryone talisman at a time, and, preferablyone talisman for several weeks. If youknow your astrological chart, you havean idea which of the planetary talismanis the one you want to have your firstexperience with over an extended periodof time. Otherwise, your personal needswill determine the talisman that you want:Jupiter for money, Venus for love, Marsfor sports and competition, etc. If youhave a very pressing, or a very specific,personal need, it may be useful if youget instructions to make a special talismanfrom a professional source. This way, youhave a talisman with a very specific actionrather than a planetary talisman whoseaction is broader and which isencompassing a variety of fields of lifeexperiences.

APPENDIX

In the previous lessons you learned abouttalismans and how to make them. Youcertainly realized that making talismansis not too difficult. The typicaltalismanologist has a wealth of symbolsand talisman designs available. With thiscollection of symbols he or she can thencustom tailor talismans for any individualfor any purpose. The capability ofastrology, the use of the pendulum orany other form of ideomotoricmovement, and plain old intuition arevaluable tools. You will acquire them withtime as you will acquire the experienceof how to tackle the various problemsthat your customers want to solve.

I encouraged you to study the course“Magick of the Future”. If you did, youcertainly have realized by now that atalisman is a structural link to a veryspecific trend energy. Once the link is fullyestablished, the talisman is continuouslypowered by the life force of the personwho carries it. When you use a talismanfor an extended period of time, youconnect it with trend energy other thanits original charge, depending on yourexperiences while carrying it. Theseenergies can counteract the effectivenessof the talisman. In older jargon, thetalismanologist said that it took on somepsychic clutter. These energies have tobe removed from time to time, i.e., thetalisman has to be cleansed fromacumulated negativity and re-charged.

You can cleanse the talisman in the samemanner as you have been cleansing theutensils and the material for the talismanbefore you have made it. It is a cleansingthat uses the four elements. You rechargethe talisman the same way as you havecharged it originally.
