It also aims to identify roles and responsibilities as a team member, promote career growth, and both locally and globally, comply with regulatory and organizational requirements for occupational health and safety, take accurate measurements and calculations, identify, and analyze and interpret symbols in plans and drawings, and analyze quality of works and perform computer operations. It includes core competencies in drafting technology such as drafting architectural layout and details and preparing computer- aided drawings. The course may include any or all of the following as elective competencies as may be required: draft structural layout and details, draft electrical and electronic layout and details, draft sanitary / plumbing layout and details, and draft mechanical layout and details. COURSE TITLE : DRAFTING TECHNOLOGY NOMINAL DURATION : 1200 HOURS QUALIFICATION LEVEL : NC II COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course is designed to enhance the

knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes of the students to gather, interpret, and convey information in response to

four basic processes of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division including but not limited to trigonometric functions, and algebraic computations.

2. Calculations involving fractions, percentages, and mixed numbers are used to complete workplace tasks.

3. Numerical computations are self-checked and corrected for accuracy. 4. Accurate measurements are obtained according to job requirements. 5. Systems of measurement are identified and converted according to job
