NodeB 3900 Hardware, Installation and Commissioning
Module 1 Node B 3900 Hardware StructureObjective This course is designed to provide NodeB hardware system structure for NodeB System Engineer. After this course, the participants will be able to summarize the hardware system structure of NodeB, describe the working principle and functions of different subsystems and boards, analyze the signal flow and configure typical hardware system.
Target Audience NodeB Field Technician, NodeB First Line Maintenance Technician, NodeB Routine Maintenance Technician NodeB Installation & Testing & Commissioning Engineer RAN Operation and Maintenance Engineer, RAN Second Line Engineer, RAN Technical Support Engineer
Prerequisites Successful completion of the following course: 01 WCDMA RAN Fundamental
Contents Describe the hardware structure of NodeB. Describe the logical structure of NodeB Describe the working principle and functions of different subsystems. Describe the functions of all kinds of boards. Describe signal processing flows in NodeB. Describe the typical hardware configuration of NodeB.
Module2 NodeB Installation and Commissioning
Objective This course is designed to provide Node B installation and Node B commissioning for Node B Installation and Commissioning Engineer. The participants will attend lecture, and perform Node B software installation and commissioning tasks in this one-day course. Target Audience Node B Installation & Testing & Commissioning Engineer Prerequisites Successful completion of the following courses: 01 WCDMA RAN Fundamental Node B Hardware Structure Contents On completion of this course, the participants will be able to: Install LMT software. Describe the procedure of NodeB commissioning. Check the compatibility of Node B software version. Load Node B software and configuration file. Verify local cell status. Measure RTWP. Monitor output power.
