• Central plains of the Pampas: Source of Argentina’s agricultural wealth• Oil-rich southern plateau of the Patagonia• Sub-tropical northern flats of the Gran Chaco
• Andes mountain range which creates the border to Chile
Geography (Major rivers and lakes)
• Rivers: Parana(largest), Pilcomayo, Paraguay, Bermejo, Colorado, Río Negro, Salado, and the Uruguay
• Lakes include: Argentino, Viedma, Nahuel Huapi, Fagnan, Colhué Huapi, and Musters
• Largest fresh-water oil spill caused by a Shell tanker in the Rio de la Plata estuary
