NUMBER OF YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN COOPERATIVE

The mindset of youth who have not been aware of the cooperative.

Definition of youth: the person who is aged 15- 40 years old.

The youth still focus in the laboratory (to study). For example: Student Cooperative in the university.

The Youth (read: Man) think about their own business not for the cooperative because they still want to fight themselves.

The Youth (read: Woman) one by one has thought to participate in cooperative because their business especially for home industry need marketing from the cooperative.

YOUTH IN COOPERATIVE

• The number of National Youth Cooperative still low.

• Low of woman participation in Youth Cooperative

• Many youth entrepreneur in Indonesia but they are not the member of cooperative.

• As we know, woman have an importantant rol in success of cooperative.

• Women also have equal opportunities to develope various potential business in Indonesia. There are no restrictions for women to do entrepreneur.

Founded on May 25th, 1975 on the initiative of the Indonesian Women's Congress (KOWANI) and Contact Organization for Women Agency of DKI Jakarta (BKOW DKI Jakarta).

No legal entity: 111 / BH / I dated September 11th, 1975.

Type: Multi purpose co-operative.
