Qualified individuals will perform a variety of technical duties pertaining to soil and

water conservation practices on public and private properties, responsible for

surveys and in the design of conservation projects. Oversee the rental operation of

conservation tillage equipment.

Ideal candidates will have graduated from a regionally accredited college or univer-

sity or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with

an associate’s degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy,

Soil Conservation, Forestry, or a closely related field; or two (2) years of work expe-

rience, or its part-time equivalent, in these sciences; or an equivalent combination

of training and experience in this field.
