Countertop Plastic™ is a 3 mil Blue self-adhesive Polyethylene film with an adhesive system our engineers made for use on countertop types of surfaces. We are very proud of this product, its accolades over the years, and the wide number of surfaces successfully protected with this product. This film adheres to the surface, gaining strength from the surface being protected. This is very inexpensive insurance for countertop scratch protection. Countertop Plastic™ should be used during fabrication, shipping, delivery, installation, and after installation to keep the countertops looking like new until all work in the area is completed. This state of the art water-based adhesive system works extremely well on Granite, Tile, Corian®, Zodiac®, Marble, Quartz, Soapstone, Compac Marmol & Quartz, Glass, Concrete, Formica®, Swanstone, Caesarstone, Wilsonart Earthstone, Gibraltar & Laminates, and many other Acrylic and Resin countertop surfaces. Stocked in Blue, 24” x 500’, 30” x 500’ rolls. Available with custom printing, custom colors, custom sizes, and other adhesive systems to meet your specific needs. Q: Is this film easy to install? A: Yes, this film is regular wound on the roll, so the adhesive is on the inside. Simply unroll a small amount of film, pull the roll in the direction you wish to protect, smoothing it down as you go. It installs very quickly and easily. The surface being covered should always be clean and dry for best results. Q: How does such a thin film add so much protection? A: Because the film is self-adhesive, and adheres to the entire surface being covered, it actually gains an amazing amount of strength from the surface below. The film can withstand quite a lot of force, before the film is damaged. The types of forces commonly absorbed by the film would have often left scratches in the surface. A: Yes, our engineers recommend thatthis �lm is used within 6 months of thepurchase date. That is also ourwarranty period.
