Counter Aesthetics

Carrier Commercial Refrigeration provides a wide range of options from different pedestal solutions to different product heights or glass superstructures.

In addition to these options, all variants can be matched with a variety

of colours, patterns and materials - enabling every store to be unique.

Counter designs

Carrier offers a wide range of possibilities when it comes to the

design of the counters. Front aesthetic, endwalls and pedestals are

available in many designs, material finishings and colours.

Closed basement models can have different front panel

heights. Standard design has the thinnest front below the glass

superstructure. Enhanced design features a higher front panel. Flat

design aligns the full front in one pane with the superstructure.

Whether painted metal sheet, total Inox design or wood cladding,

any solutions can be chosen for your refrigerated counters.

Pedestals

Pedestals are not just a supporting element of the cabinet but a

fundamental part of the aesthetics becoming an integral part of the

counter’s design.

Therefore a good design of the pedestal will enhance the overall look

of the counter line.

Available materials include painted metal sheet, stainless steel, or

even a unique solution, such as a wood laminate cover.

In addition, the size and shape of the pedestal can vary from

rounded to rectangular, to adapt to every store’s need.

Wood laminate and tile

Laminate claddings offer a wide range of possibilities from simulating

wood to stone and concrete - as you will see on the following pages.

Carrier recommends to use 18 mm waterproof MDF as inner

material, with 0,8 mm or 1 mm lamination on both sides. This will

ensure the right level of strength and durability, easy cleaning, and

protection from humidity.

An aesthetical and long-lasting alternative is the use of ceramic tiles,

applied to a flat surface. With an individual and creative combination,

you may mix and match tiles to come up with your own unique design.

Bumpers

Bumpers serve a very technical need: they protect the appliance

from damages potentially caused by shopping carts. However, they

are also part of the front design.

They can be square shaped or rounded, thin or thick. For stainless

steel finishings, polished or brushed can be chosen.


In addition to your choice of Carrier counters, a wide range of accessories can make the sales

process faster and the shopping experience more enjoyable. The shop operator should be able

to carry out operations efficiently. The less strain placed on the store’s staff, the more attention

they can devote to customers.

Sliding accessoriesErgonomic use and flexibility in the placement of the

accessories are combined in this solution.

Integrated scalesScales integrated into the service counter combining

space-saving with ergonomics.

Integrated cutting board and knife sheathCutting boards with a laterally integrated knife sheath allow

space-saving and deliver an ergonomic solution.

Cutting boardPolyethylene cutting boards are commonly used in a service

counter and are available in different colors: white for dairy,

blue for seafood, red for meat, yellow for cheese or poultry.

Paper trayStylish paper tray for excellent storage of paper on your

service counter.

Tasting tray Hanging tray ideal for tasting and placement of promotional

products to hand to your customers.

Night coverNight covers provide an economical way to shield

refrigeration cases and protect perishable food inside from

ambient store heat and light.

Night blindCommonly used for open refrigerated cases the night blind

is an ideal solution to save energy.

Stepped displayEnhance your products in the counters with the use of a

stepped display with 2 or 3 levels. Available in stainless

Depending on the merchandise displayed, the new Carrier

LED lamps meet your requirements with the right colors. Long

lifetime and low energy consumption lead to a fast payback of

investment. Choosing Carrier LED lamps also means choosing

a sustainable solution due to no mercury used, less waste, and

lower CO2 footprint.

ZEUS technology

Based on a twin-evaporator cooling system and exclusive control

technology, Carrier counters equipped with Zeus technology provide

high and steady humidity inside the cabinet, leading to reduced food

dehydration and a decreased loss of goods’ weight.

Gravity coil

The Carrier counters with gravity coil (GC) are built using stainless

steel internal parts that are highly resistant to corrosion. They are the

best solution for fresh fish presentation on ice.

Pastry

Carrier counters for pastry products feature stainless steel drawers

for easy handling and a stable temperature for the ideal storage of

delicacies.

Hot cabinets with warming lamp

Carrier offers two versions of hot cabinets: one with warming lamp

and hot plate or glass deck, the other with bain-marie and warming

lamp (BW).
