If a student is on your

roster, but not in class

Mark “Absent”

If a student is in class but not on your roster

Ask to see the schedule. And check your IC roster (not paper copy). Help

student find the right place, if necessary.

Updated versions of schedules will be signed and

dated by the student’s counselor.

If your class is listed on a signed copy of the

schedule

Double-check your roster on IC (refresh, if needed).

If a student’s schedule shows two classes or “EMPTY”

Send him/her to the counselor to get it fixed…

during the hour the conflict occurs!

If a student lacks the prerequisite for your course

First, talk to the student. He or she may have knowledge

that a paper transcript doesn’t indicate!

If a student needs moved to a different level course

Send the student to the counselor with a note of recommendation for the

appropriate course.

Please check schedules with students. Make sure that every

student is enrolled in:

***Students should not have more than 1 PE class per day!***

any of the 4 core

courses, please send

to the counselor!

The Rest of August…

With the addition of the 8th block, most students

were “randomly” placed into an elective course. This may work well for

some and not for others…

If a student is unhappy with an elective, please have him/her sign

up to see the counselor. We will call them in as time allows, and we will

do what we can to find good matches for students.

(Please don’t promise that changes can be made!)

August 31st!!! (except extenuating circumstances)

Regarding Seminars…

CAC Seminars are not set yet!

Blue days—career clusters—are fairly accurate.

White days—MTSS support seminars—are random.

We will let you know when we are able to accept rosters

to load MTSS seminars!
