Sub : Counseling for seats in Medical & Dental PG CoursesRef : Revised after Honble Supreme Court Order dated 13.05.2013

Sri Siddhartha University had conducted an All India Post Graduate

Entrance Test (SSU - AIPGET - 2013) for PG & PG Diploma in Medical and PG in

Dental courses in the constituent colleges of the University (Viz., Sri Siddhartha

Medical College & Sri Siddhartha Dental College, Tumkur) on 20th J anuary 2013.

The Ranks of eligible candidates based on the merit in the entrance test was

announced on the web on 22/05/2013.

Now, the counseling for the selection of seats is scheduled on 28th and 29th

May 2013 at Lecture Hall, Department of Pathology, Sri Siddhartha Medical

College & Hospital, Agalakote, B.H. Road, Tumkur. The detail is as below :

PROCEDURE FOR SEAT SELECTION:

The candidate presence is compulsory for the seat selection process. One

person (a parent / a guardian) can accompany the candidate. Candidates areinformed to report to the venue of the counseling in time.

The procedure of seat selection is as follows:1. Registration and verification of all originals along with required DD2. The Candidates will be called for seat selection process in the order of

merit among the registered candidates and who have produced all thedocuments needed with required fee in the form of DD.

3. After the seat selection, the candidates will have to remit the requiredfees and all the originals and a set of photo copies which will be sent torespective colleges for the process of admission.

4. The candidate will be issued a letter of allotment by the authorities.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF COUNSELING:

Candidates are informed produce the following original documents at the timeof counseling:

1. Admission Ticket and Rank Card2. SSLC / 10th Standard or equivalent marks card as a proof of date of birth3. MBBS / BDS marks cards of all years4. Attempt certificates.

5. Internship completion certificate ( if not completed, provisional completionletter from Dean/Principal)6. Permanent / Provisional registration certificate from the state council.7. Degree certificate / provisional degree certificate8. Five recent passport size coloured photographs.9. Three set of photo copies of all the documents (sl. 1 to 7)

And candidates are also required to posses the fee in the form of DD asmentioned in the next paragraph.

FEE PARTICULARS:

1. Tuition Fee : a). Medical :-1). Pre - Clinical ` . 1.50 Lakhs

2). Para-Clinical`. 2.15 Lakhs3). Clinical `. 6.00 Lakhs - Degree

`. 4.00 Lakhs - Diploma

To be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, SSMC,payable at Tumkur.

b). Dental `. 4.00 Lakhs

To be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, SSDC,payable at Tumkur.

2. Other Fees : `. 42.450/- (both for Medical & Dental)

To be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary , SSMC for MedicalCourses and Secretary SSDC for Dental coursespayable at Tumkur.

3. Eligibility Fees : `. 3000/-

To be paid separately in the form of demand draft in favour of The Registrar, SSU ,payable at Tumkur.

LATECOMER POLICY:

Candidates who fail to report in time at the venue as per the date and timeof the schedule will be considered as latecomers, who will be required to join and

will be entitled for seats available at that point of counseling.

ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE :The candidate will have to join the respective college on or before

31/05/2013, failing which the allotted seat will be forfeited.

GROUNDS FOR REJECTION OF COUNSELING: Improper / Incomplete documents. Fail to produce D.D for tuition and other fees. Absence of the candidate for counseling in person. Failed to register within the time specified.

REFUND OF FEE PAIDThe Candidate who do not join the college within the prescribed time and

wants to surrender their seat, in such cases the fee will be refunded after making

deduction as deducation of .5,000/- as processing charges.

For surrendering the seats candidate will have to submit a written

application, original allotment letter and also the notarized affidavit on a stamp

paper with in the specified time (03/06/2013)

LEGAL JURISDICTION:

Any dispute that may arise in respect of the seat selection process andadmission is subject to the jurisdiction of the Honble High Court of Karnataka and

consumer court of Bangalore. The issue of allotment letter by the SSU is

provisional which is to enable the candidate to join Sri Siddhartha Medical /

Dental College, Tumkur subject to his / her meeting all the eligibility

requirement as prescribed by MCI / DCI as well as SSU, Tumkur. Hence, at

the college level all the original documents are once again verified before

acceptance.

ASSISTANCE :

Candidates seeking any clarification or assistance for specific problems with

regard to the seat selection process are required to contact SSU office well in

advance for redressal. SSU suggests all the candidates to visit the SSU website

regularly for the latest updates.
