Cotton: From Farm to Fabric

A farmer plants the seeds, then cares for the cotton plants and finally harvests the cotton lint.

Seeds are removed from the cotton at the gin. Next the cotton is spun into yarn and woven into fabric.

Yarn and cloth are dyed and then sent to mills where they are made into clothing, bedding, and other things.
