This COTM Antenna System provides an affordable on-the-move solution combining a rugged mechanical packaging with highest quality Commercial, Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components for vehicle, shipboard, and aircraft applications. The Leonardo DRS COTM Antenna System is based on proven RF and tracking system technologies integrated into a complete on-the-move package. Integrating navigation sensors, control electronics, and Radio Frequency (RF) equipment on the pedestal provides high performance stabilization, acquisition, and tracking. The COTM Antenna System is available in X-Band and Ku- Band in both 46 cm and 61 cm variants. The COTM Antenna System can be deployed either as a single antenna system or as a pair to provide antenna RF diversity operation. Operating in the RF diversity configuration, this system provides continuous RF transmit and receive to the user by measuring various RF link attributes and switching between antennas to maintain optimal RF link performance. Leonardo DRS is a leading supplier of integrated products, services, and support to military forces, intelligence agencies, and prime contractors worldwide. Focused on defense technology, Leonardo DRS develops, manufactures, and supports a broad range of military systems for mission-critical and military sustainment requirements, as well as homeland security. The Leonardo DRS Satellite COTM Antenna System is based on over three decades of continuous design, development, production, and sustainment of satellite systems worldwide. Leonardo DRS is a world leader in Satellite COTM technology and has delivered systems in more than 20 countries. The Company’s satellite antenna systems are currently employed in shore support facilities, ground vehicles, and on large and small naval vessels ranging from destroyers and frigates to small fast boats and rigid inflatables.
