Red bandana: I chose for my model to wear a red bandana because it is in fashion at the moment by a lot of rock artists to wear bandanas, so I thought it would make her look like quite a fashionable rock artist.

Electric guitar: I made my model hold an electric guitar because I thought that because she was holding an instrument which makes quite a rock sound, she would look like a talented musician.

Dark clothing and wristbands: I asked my model to wear dark clothing on the day of my photo shoot because I feel it made her look a lot more indie rock. The fact that it is a band t-shirt shows that she is interested in the music industry as she listens to similar artists. Also, her wristbands show this.

Red plaid shirt: I asked for my model to wear this because I felt it made him stand out a lot more when put next to the other models, which makes the band seem different and not like every other band wearing black all the time.

Again, I chose for my model to hold an electric guitar because he is in an indie rock magazine and it shows that he is a musician and plays either in a band or he is a solo artist.

I made my third model wear quite dark clothing for my photo shoot, but not black. I wanted my photo to look like an indie rock band, where they are all different but similar in some ways, so I made sure that they didn’t all wear the same clothing, just to make sure the photo didn’t look like an ordinary rock band.
