The Cost of FreedomBy Abby Shaw
The cost of freedom is certainly not free
So let’s all bow and take a knee;
For the ones who have served
And the ones who have died;
For the ones who have lived
And the ones who have cried.
We pay respect to those with a silent pause;
We also respect those who died for the cause.
Thank you all who have died for me.
I thank God for those who let us be free.
Thank you to the men and women who serve and protect us every day.
