History Of APS

The Arena is active protection system developed at Russia'sKolomna-based Engineering Design Bureau between 1977–1982for the purpose of protecting important places from war thread.

APS System Overview

The system uses a multi-function Doppler radar, which can beturned on and off by the operator. In conjunction with radarinput, a digital computer scans an arc around for threats, and itwill release projectiles to intercept the incoming threat. Inselecting the projectile to use for defeating the threat. Thecomputer has a reaction time of 0.05 seconds.

Project Purpose

By the array scan technology of image processing now we able todetect the area of an object. Most of the war threads are incommon format. So it was easy to detect any object nature. Weuse picture element information to sensing an object. By ouradvanced OOP coding language now we enable to process thedata comes from picture element.

Doppler radar is the main costly part of Arena system. ADoppler radar is a specialized radar that makes use of theDoppler effect to produce velocity data about objects at adistance.

Future Planning

In future we try to develop such a system that is not only use to developed Arena system. We developed a cost effective theorem that is used to detect car speed and various Object. Our theory can also develop the auto driver method that is used today in most advanced cars. We can build more effective home security system by this theory. In recent future we can build more effective self defense system.
