At this time during the fall season, as the harvest i sbrought in from the fields, as we prepare, as manyprepare for the winter ahead, a sense of gratitude for thatwhich is received, that which has been given wil lprepare one for the times ahead . Even if there aredifficulties in those times ahead, to hold to this sense o fgratitude. this sense that even a little is enough will helpthe entities of this world deal with the events that li eahead. There are monumental events directly ahead i nthe coming months that will try one's faith, that will tr yone's conviction, that will try one's trust in the greate rpowers, and it is important to hold gratitude in one' sheart, to hold trust and faith in one's heart, to hold to th econvictions held of the highest and the greatest spiritua llight and energy that will see one through these trouble dtimes that lie ahead .

This Awareness wishes one and all to remembe rthese words, so that with the times and the challenges o fthe times, that one still has the gratitude for what one ha sand what is still available and what is still given .Abundance is an attitude . This Awareness first wishes to confirm that the term"nano-bacteria" is an appropriate term to use in thebuildup of those substances of that which is known a splaque in the arteries . The nano-bacteria is indeed tha twhich is the cause of this buildup of plaque . It i sbasically a sticky substance, in tat when the bacteri acomes together, it sticks together as a glue, and thi sstickiness has an attraction for other nano-bacteria tha tjoins it and builds up, at a microscopic level at first ."Stickiness" is simply a term to be used for the ioni cattraction, the molecular attraction that draws th ebacteria together, that causes the buildup of this bacteria ,producing that substance known as plaque . What causes this buildup generally is the inade-quate diet that so many have at this time, especiall ythose who live in Western society, but it is particularl ybad in those areas and regions where there is a heavyreliance on processed foods . Many of the processed

foods contain toxic elements that are not truly fit fo rhuman consumption . The use of soya products, althoug htouted as a low calorie substitute for meat and other highfat, high calorie substances, is actually harmful in thelong run .

There is far too much use of soya product now . It i sused in filler in so many processed foods now, thu sclaiming to be "lite," to be healthy, and yet there ar egrowth inhibitors and hormones that are detrimental fo rumans and detrimental to human health . As in al l

matters, excessive use of these substances is what is th eproblem, not occasional use . So this Awareness does no twish to frighten the membership, especially those wh ouse soya products, but this Awareness does wish for th emembership to look deeper into the use of this particula rproduct .

The use of soya must be looked at and determined i fit is being used excessively or moderately . The Chinese ,for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years have knownthat soya products were not the very best, and did no tthemselves engage in using it excessively, but even i nthe use of soya products such as tofu, the whey produc tof the soaking of soya beans, contain growth inhibitors .This is one reason that the Chinese race has traditionall ybeen shorter and smaller in structure and stature and ho wit is so interesting that many immigrants from the Asia ncountries to North America have seen their children an dthe children's children grow beyond the height of th eparents and the grandparents .

I tis a double-whammy so to speak, that those pollutant sthat are within prepared foods such as high sugar, hig hsalt, high levels of harmful bacteria or substances, i smade even worse by the destruction of the nutritiona lvalue of the food . This Awareness therefore cannotrecommend highly the use of microwaves, and recom-mends its use only in a limited manner .

Again, traditional ways of preparation, such asovens and stoves would be more superior in the prepara-tion of food than the use of microwaves. This too is acontributing factor to the buildup of the bacteria levels ,especially the harmful nano-bacteria that is in th esystem, that builds up to the plaque, that needs to b eremoved before it constricts the arteries and make spossibilities of stroke and heart attack possible .

This Awareness wishes the members to be aware . Inthese times of high processed food with low nutritiona lvalue and destructive cooking techniques, that man-kind/womankind is under direct threat . The buildup o fplaque and the arterial dis-ease that results from such

4buildup is as much a result of unhealthy lifestyles ,unhealthy eating habits, unhealthy ways of preparin gfoods as anything else . Raw food is one alternative . Theuse of organic raw foods is even better . It would b eadvisable to eat salads and carrots and other raw foods inaddition to prepared foods . The raw food holds morenutritional value, is alive in its potency versus dead an dnon-nutritional in value .

This is a kettle of worms waiting to be spilled ; thi squestion, and the inferences that are made in thi squestion . This Awareness is willing to shake up this canof worms and present some thoughts on the matter .There is indeed a distinct difference between th emasculine way of response and the prioritization of wha tmen are interested in, versus how women think, wha tthey would be interested in .

The masculine energy is active, or action orientated .Through many popular books of this time, it is seen tha tmen are problem solvers . They do not wish to engage in

the deep emotional analysis of a topic, but simply wishto be given the problem so that they can present asolution . They do not wish to analyze the problem o remotionally investigate the situation . They wish insteadto actively solve the problem and come up with asolution .

Women often are the opposite . They wish to under -stand the situation, the problem, to give vent to th eemotional energies around a problem ; those feeling sthey are having . They wish to be heard . As the popularbook "Men Are From Mars. Women Are From Venus "refers, they don't always present the situation fo rsolution, but rather for discussion, whereas men are theopposite . They do not wish to sit around simply discuss-ing. They wish to solve the problem . Somewhere in th emiddle is the solution . Somewhere in the middle is theanswer .

While men may have more of one hormone orsubstance than women, it does not really come down t othe chemical differences . That simply explains in aphysical way a difference between men and female tha tdoes exist . One is not better than the other . One i ssimply different from the other . This Awareness wishe salso to state that each gender does contain within it aspark of the opposite gender . Thus, the masculin econtains within it the spark of the feminine, and th efeminine contains within it the spark of the masculine .This is of course the Yin/Yang principle .

The white side of the Yang symbol contains theblack dot in the middle, and the black side of th eYin/Yang principle contains the white dot in the middle ,thus showing that the male contains the feminine, an dthe feminine contains the masculine . This is the middleground between the two genders . A male needs to havethe patience to truly listen to that which is being pre-sented ; not necessarily to offer solutions, but to learn t olisten, because that is often what the female wishes .

The female equally needs to understand that th emasculine energy loves to provide solutions, and in th eproviding of solutions feels competent and adequate i nitself, and that presenting a problem may also require thesolution be acknowledged and perhaps, even carried out ,if appropriate . This Awareness supports both thefeminine and the masculine ; neither being better than orless than . First of all , this Awareness wishes again to refer t oa tolerance and a patience of one gender, one sex to th eother, with the recognition that males will respon ddifferently than females, so females needing to b etolerant and patient with the male, and males under -standing the same of the feminine, that they will b edifferent in their expectations and needs than anotherman would be, and to also be tolerant and patient and

willing to go deeper, to open up, to be emotional, toopen the heart energy, and not simply using the min denergy .

The Use of the "Talking Stick" in Communicatio nThis Awareness does have a suggestion for a tool o f

communication that could be most beneficial in thi sprocess . This is a tool known as a talking stick . A talkin gstick bein g a Native American tool of communicatio noften used by many native families . The talking stickwas not of course a stick that talked, but a stick tha tallowed talking, communication between individuals . Itis a particularly effective tool to be used in the commu-nication process between men and women . A stick wa sfound that could be used as this tool of communication .It was decorated upon every successful use as a commu-nicating tool .

The process was based on protocol that was agree dto in advance. The first protocol being that this stick ,often one to two feet in length, would be acknowledge das a means to establish a time to communicate, to talk . Ifone asked for a talking stick, that because a greement hadbeen made that this tool would be used to allow open -hearted communication, one made the effort to use it an dto communicate with the other as quickly as possible .Once this agreement is in place, if an individual has anissue, has the need to talk, that when he or she asked fo ra talking stick of the other person, that there would be a nagreement to come together as soon as possible in orde rto communicate, in order to resolve issues, or to spea kthe unspeakable, to speak that which needs to be spoke nor discussed .

When the two individuals, or several individuals, i fthere are more than two, come together to use the talkin gstick, there is further protocol that is used . The firs tprotocol is that the person asking for the talking stick i sthe first to talk. If it is a one on one communicatio nbetween the two people, the person would speak to tha tperson he's asked, or she has asked to have a talkin gstick with ; he or she would state the issues that they fee lare needing addressing, needing to be communicated ,needing to be heard .

The problem for most males and females in thei rcommunication is a lack of listening, a lack of hearing .Too often, when something is voiced that triggers theindividual, they will go immediately to a place ofcreating a defense in their mind, a rebuttal to what ha sbeen told to them. Thus, they stop listening, they sto phearing what is spoken. With the use of this talkingstick, the individual presenting their case, presenting tha twhich is the issue, speaks it to the other individual the yare communicating with, that they are doing the talkin gstick with . When the individual holding the talking stic kis complete, the talking stick is passed to the othe rperson with the purpose of that individual repeating bac kto the first individual what he or she said .

That is why it is important for the individual startin gwith the talking stick to not go on and on and on, somuch so that the individual can never remember all thatwas said . It is recommended that the initial presentationof the issue, of the problem, of that which needs to b ediscussed, be short and to the point, so that the individ-ual, when asked to repeat back what was spoken, can d oso, thus indicating that he or she truly did hear what wasspoken . If in the event that the individual canno taccurately repeat and give back what was spoken, th etalking stick is returned to the first individual, and thatindividual repeats again what he or she said, and the nreturns the stick back to the second party, again for th epurpose of having it repeated .

When this is successfully completed, when the initia lperson speaking their peace feels satisfied that th eperson heard them, the second person has a chance t otalk, not with the intent of defending what was said, bu trather . expressing from their heart what they perceive dand understood of what the person was saying to them ,so that a solution perhaps can be found, but mos timportantly, so that each can be heard on this issue . Thetalking stick will go back and forth until both parties fee lcontent that they have been heard, that the issue has bee npresented, that communication, true heart to hear tcommunication has been achieved .

The repeating back and forth need only take place aslong as it takes for both parties to feel they have bee nheard . After a certain point, open heart to heart conver-sation, flowing freely between the two parties ofte noccurs . The talking stick is a true tool of communicatio nthat this Awareness advocates the members adopt as atool for personal communications between themselve sand loved ones, that treated with honor and respect wil lreflect honor and respect between the parties involved .This is an excellent way to learn how to communicat ewith other individuals .

discussions of the talking stick . The integrate dentity can see that those who are not facing their respon-sibilities do not need to be considered inferior, but ca nbe shown how they may face their responsibilities . Yetthe integrated entity does not feel the need to sacrific ehimself or his time by dealing with irresponsible entities ,but may allow that irresponsible entity to play hi sirresponsible game elsewhere. The integrated entitydoes not feel the need to sacrifice himself, does not fee lthat he owes others anything for being, but will pay hi sor her debts to others according to the relationship an denergies which have been exchanged, and accord . g to asense of justice and fair play, regardless of whether i thurts the individual entity or whether it hurts the othe rentity involved in the exchange and business at hand .

The fair play, the justice the integrated entity see sdoes not favor himself over others, nor does it favo rothers over himself . This Awareness indicates that this

as a delicate and difficult balance, and few can be totall yintegrated at all times . Therefore the situation of such anentity is more like that of a rocking boat upon waves ,whereby the entity favors himself at this time, and thenthe waves change and the entity must give up certai naspects and favor the other . This Awareness indicates there also may be som esemblance of reality which does match with the child' svision of society or of the parent . This reality may bethere, yet may be made more significant that yit actuallyis . A parent may have a certain type of behavior that i sfrustrating to the child, yet the child may intensify thefrustration to a degree greater than is necessary, greate rthan is appropriate, and the parent then, having thi sparticular quality which the child rejects, finds all othe raspects of his behavior ignored while the child objectsstrictly and totally to that one aspect . This Awarenes sindicates this also can be transferred to the society as th echild grows older, and in this transference, the child ma ybe totally hostile toward the society for a particula raction. And in this hostility the child may only see thesociety in terms of that particular action, and may no tsee the society for the other actions which are beneficia lto other entities and to the child .

This Awareness indicates that as this occurs, thechild in feeling this intense frustration toward societ ybased on the particular viewpoint which is over -significant, which is magnified in the consciousness o fthe child or the entity, may now find an oppositio noccurring between the child and the society wherebythere is a conflict of interests : the entity attacking thesociety, or the society attacking the entity for not beingintegrated - for being a misfit .

A question from Esther Hamel of Saint Ignatius ,Montana . She writes : "I have a question . This refers towhat is being called "reverse speech." It was reviewed i nKnowledge Systems catalogue and then, rather slyly andskeptically in Artifex 9, 1991 . I have enclosed copies .Briefly, in the late 1980s, David John Oates went publicwith his Reverse Speech theory of hidden messages inhuman communication .

"When humanspeech is recorded and played back-wards, it reveals that the forward message is heardconsciously, while simultaneously, a second message inreverse is constructed and heard unconsciously . Quicklyspoken reverse phrases or grammatically correct sen-tences, usually one to two seconds in length can beisolated from the normal gibberish of a reverse recording .
